Oh yeah! Sounds like Beethoven to me.

See how slow and technical this track is? He doesn't need 70mph straitaway's , gigantic timing section's and so forth. Pure skill on a 2 stroke to get around a track like that , and look like that. It's video's like this , which make me want to go load up and ride. I have my TC's here.....but damn , I really need to finish my RM project. They have a certain sexy sound to them , that just sounds super nice!

Nothing beats the sound of a properly jetted 250 2 stroke. That bike sounded so crisp!

At the 6 minute mark it shows him perfecting a corner over and over. I get pissed when I blow a corner on my flat track. You can hear Travis cussing when he makes mistakes. It's not normal to come across footage like this, but I'm glad the op posted. I feel better seeing guys way better than me making the same mistakes and trying to get better.

That sound is awesome, I know this is his last year riding before he hangs it up for good, maybe training to do one last Supercross.... kind of like he did MXDN? (a guy can dream)

Ok, I have to comment. The Gary Bailey YouTube page has for sure become one of my favorites lately. He has put up so much great older footage that most of us will never get to see. I am in a very fortunate situation where I was/am able to go over and watch Travis ride. When that supercross track was built, it was like field of dreams! When you rode through the woods and got to the track, the way the sun illuminated this perfectly built track was something to be seen! I will have to dig around to see if I can find some of my old footage from there. The way the bike barked and echoed through the woods was just magical! Those old SX days of watching him ride ,as well as myself trying to ride the track, will never be forgotten!

Cool to see you all enjoying Gary's youtube channel. I relayed the message to him today and he said "I was wondering where the hell all the subscribers and views were coming from". He is uploading more and more each day, as he has footage from when David learned to ride a motorcycle up until now. He was uploading some stuff of travis today on a 125 at Hangtown....Anything special you all want to see? I'll relay the word from Vital...

Awesome find. I love watching this more than racing. I subscribed but I had to laugh at one of the comments of the video.

I really like watching you ride! Although try to get your waist to touch the bars and scrub more! Another thing that I can help you with! Is a sling shot turn! When you are jumping into a turn. Try whipping your bike the opposite way of the turn! It will allow you to have better control and traction!

Did this guy honestly just give riding advise to Travis Pastrana? LOL And you guys thought Vital was bad. lol

That bike is jetted PERFECTLY.

Always loved his style on the track. Long and lanky guy who stood up on the pegs for the entire race. He maneuvered the bike effortlessly.

Travis' natural talent has always amazed me. If he hadn't broken himself into a million pieces a million times, there is no telling what he could have become. Not that what he's become now sucks even a little...

He was the last racer that I truly always stopped everything I was doing to watch him ride.

Impossible not to be happy for the life he has built for himself but selfishly always wished he would continue to race.

Great video, reminds me of Teddy Maier's track. The sound of bikes running through the woods is one of the best. I couldn't get my gear on and bike out quick enough.

Long legs + self preservation dial turned to zero (oh, and tons of talent).
