Gentleman,
First, I'm surprised this has not been brought up yet. Literally almost waited a week to see it posted and decided I will take one for the team. Our local humanitarian who goes by Peelout left a voicemail for Steven around his overweight issue while also expressing his concern for the show if the health issue is not addressed.
Steven ( who posts on this site) left the decision up
to us. It's either Steven hits a 6 month boot camp with no shows or we continue down this path with a ending that can't be predicted. The poll is apparently up to us per Steven and PulpMx.
Do we let shows like Main Event and DMXS pick up
the slack during the bootcamp or let Steven ride out the issue at hand?
Again, I would like to express my many thanks to Peelout by him addressing the elephant in the room that pertains to health and Pulp.

That'd be like suspending JS7. Who knows if we'd ever see him again? Don't care if he's all skinny and only doing hockey podcasts.
Should he maybe try to change his diet and exercise a bit? Sure, as should I. But he's a grown-ass man and can do whatever he wants. And the way some of you guys talk make him out to be these massive rolling tub of lard, haha.
You missed the main point he made, though. He said he'd be all for it if people paid him to do a boot camp. He's not going to put money-making aside to focus on getting ripped.

But, I could be wrong.
Pot meet kettle...
It's cool that Peelout stepped up and said something.

Bro, I'll be in town next week, we can discuss further then.
But I'll try to be constructive here and offer up an idea for Steve.
Steve, you do so many things between your podcasts and articles. If you really, truly, don't have a spare 30 minutes every other day, how about turning one of them into a joint effort between writing and a lifestyle change. There are many folks in the moto industry who struggle with their weight, or would simply like to be in better shape. And you have access to some incredibly knowledgeable people in our industry. So my vote is that you talk with Davey about turning one of your weekly articles into a vlog or journal about your journey and what you have learned. Get advice on exercise and diet from different experts, try them out and give us your opinion on what worked for you. I think people would follow something like that more than just random "virtual trainer" type articles that don't have the first-hand experience perspective. Tell us about how different trainers worked with you to adapt general principles to what you most needed. Tell us about what kind of advice and motivation they gave you. It would be fascinating.
But it's all up to you Steve, not us.
He isn't that big. It's not like he weighs 300 lbs of swinging rolls of fat and needs a walker and motorized shopping cart.
I mean, if he was that big, He'd be driving an F350 because the Ridgeline couldn't handle it.
