I think that # 55 ranking is a little off. Why was Summercross not counted as a "Big Win"?

Interesting. Obviously the earlier riders have a disadvantage as there were less points earning titles available to win, but a good attempt to make an objective assessment. I thought credit for points scoring years should be included.

KW finishing 14th is a fun coincidence.

Sorry to say it but The Rollerball doesn't fit into the calculation so his formula is seriously flawed.

That's an interesting read...

How cool is it that #138 on the list is a consistent Vital poster?

consistent meaning more than one...

I would think that you would have to take career ending injuries into account (a la DB in his prime).

Not that it would make much of a difference, but should Daytona be worth that much?

This should be best AMA riders of all time. How the hell does Lackey end up down in the 30 rankings? Becuase nothing here takes account of gp wins. Don't forget, at one point the Euro GPs were the REAL world championships.

True. During the early days of the Trans-AM all the Euro's finished then the American's would start coming in. Bad Brad won it when the 500's were still the premier class in the world. He would have had more AMA titles except he was over there chasing the GP's.
