Listening to the lads do their Detroit pod. Got me thinking, how much work do you put in to Pulp Fantasy?

My bro and I bench race each week but he thinks I’m crazy for being bothered with it.

And as good as I’m doing, which isn’t great, I listen to them, at least pick a team the night before (before bed for us), hopefully check qualifying times in the morning and amend as I think might work… never really watch qualifying or check tweets…

Then there is a whole other side about timing the picks/points to who does well where, jumping in an out of all-Star etc… The guys chat some strategy I just never really look into.

Where do you guys fall?

I actually wish they would break it down more lol its a problem.. I've won a bike in an old league and have won football several times. It keeps it exciting if the race is a runaway. Plus i cant ride anymore so its my connection.

I usually pick a team a day or two before. Try to catch final combined times and second guess my picks. Change picks and get frustrated when the guy I originally had makes it in through the heat and now I’m in the lcq…sometimes I listen to the before race pod, won a price once last year but usually score just above the average. Questioning joining next year as whatever I do seems the wrong choice!

I tried. Way to difficult and confusing. I still get reminders to set my team in my email every week. Football Fantasy is easy, I also did baseball a few years ago but the day games got old and took too much effort. I also have no clue how it works. The one they advertise during the races seems much easier. There's gotta be a medium between the two. The pulp one is just too difficult with the handicaps and what not, and the one on TV is too easy, the wild card pick is the most difficult part. I honestly just like the racing and save the fantasy for football.

The pulp league really isn’t that confusing. The handicaps actually make it much easier and lets you pick from nearly every rider. I can’t get into the RM league.

Every year I start playing, but by round 3 or 4 can't be arsed to give it any attention. By the time I'm watching the racing I've forgotten who I picked anyway.

I used to be a fantasy nerd Crush. These days I pick a team Saturday our time, then check the qualifying times, make some changes and watch the races, doing work around the house in between.
I have won my fair share Fantasy MX leagues, in it for a bit of fun now.

I used to spend too much time (about 40 minutes) every Saturday making picks when there were 200-500 players per website (motoxdream, Motocross fantasy, promotofan, old motoleague way back...)

But back then I'd always be at the front in the standings. Won a bike and finished 2nd or third overall multiple times so I came really really close to winning half a dozen bikes... Won a bunch of small prizes...

Nowadays RM is mostly just luck and there's so many people on Pulp that by round 3 you know if you should keep trying or not.

I do prefer fantasy during the outdoors before there are a lot more variables and riders to choose from. Races are longer so watching your rider with a -18 handicap battling for 28th at the 30 minute mark adds a little something...

I have won ridiculous money and prizes on fantasy, helmets, stands, gear, bars, sprocket sets etc. I have also donated the prizes on many games on here over the years. Pulp is the only one I play every year and never have won anything. I enjoy it and it helps you root for guys further back too and adds interest. I also play $10 max a week on DraftKings and been playing on their money for years. Fantasy Surf, Fantasy Fishing. I won the second ever fantasy sx this site had, Alphado won the first. Won the first 3 out of 4 fantasy football leagues i played on here and donated all the prizes. I'm in 2 other big money football leagues that i have won a few times. I love numbers.

I’m way way too invloved… choosing riders based on laptimes and who they can potential beat along with the damn maximum point risk…… I’m looking at you Jerry disappointment robin… I’m still trying to get my first win but it’s hard as shit, especially when you’re on the verge of a heart attack every lcq chasing max points lol

Other fantasy sports I play
Hockey
Baseball
Basketball

I’m doing football for the first time ever this upcoming season.

I listen to everything, play a small money league with some buddies from the track, seems like sometimes i do better if i leave my thursday team alone and let it roll than if i watch practice and then start over thinking shit. Makes it fun

I listen to the pods but gave Fantasy away a couple of years ago. I enjoy the races a bit more without it.

I didn't pay for the championship league this year and stopped picking a team a couple races ago. 3 or 4 years ago I had some good finishes and won some prizes but now there's so many people playing its literally just luck to get a top 20 score because you need to have the top rider scores and ffl score.
