Pulp Fantasy

What day and time will the Pulp Fantasy be up? My pick Friday 10:00 am. Come on Marx, I want to make my picks before another rider gets hurt. I think it’s JT holding everything up, he’s trying to figure out Jerry Robins handicap.

Something has to happen the website is running like a privateer team that is way behind schedule for A1.

I'm surprised it's not up yet, but I will not pick my team until after practice anyhow. Too much up in the air at this point.

Sorry y’all. I’ve been up all night trying to fix it but when I turn expert picks on the rider lists are getting bugged and I need to fix that first. Need a few hours of sleep and I’ll look again ASAP

I don't like the expert picks idea. Going to make it more difficult for those who put in the effort to win. What does everyone else think?

Agreed. Its just another way for them to get more money out of participants. We can already see "% picked" statistics and that should be enough data to make a decision if you are not sure.

What's the expert picks? Man, Pulp is making serious scratch off this I bet lol. After last season (first time playing), and how shitty I did, I told myself I wasn't going to pay to do it again, but with as much content as Steve puts out, it's kind of a no brainer. Just signed up again, and hopefully this season goes a little better than last.

I dont like it either, just keep it equal

It was already really good, sometimes with tech people keep making changes and making changes and mess up a good thing, Like Myspace did

Ok, a couple people agree. That’s enough for me. Steve, raise the price to $40 and do away with expert picks!!!!

Between a sudden high priority item happening at my “real” job and this bug that popped up, it’s been a rough couple days. I’ll be home soon and get to it again and have it up ASAP. Good news aside from that, this weekend will go much better than last year’s A1. Sorry everyone for the delay.

Thank you for doing this Travis. I appreciate all you and Steve do.

I just got charged the extra $5 as well even though unchecked.

Not to fussed, I just think of it as a $5 donation to the cause.

They got rid of the % pick last year going into outdoors. So if you want a little help you pay the extra $5

What is the benefit of paying $40 when you can play RMATVMC's for free?

You can play both And the pulp one is Super fun
With the Handicaps it is a lot more in depth
And there are prizes.

Imo its worth it just in entertainment
Value, but if you win just 1 prize
Which dont have to be an overall win.
Im not sure how far back prize's go
Every weekend

I play both... but that being said...

RMATVMC is about as simplistic as moto fantasy gets.. Kind of game where kids, wives, girlfriends, grandparents etc can play with very little to no strategy involved. Which is fine...

PulpMX's handicap system is for the true, hardcore moto enthusiast. Requires much, much more thought process and strategy. Plus it helps make you so much more familiar with lesser known privateer riders; who will make you either look like a genius, or make you want to throw your beverage at the drywall.

Plus, SUPPORT ANYTHING PULPMX!!

I apologize to anyone who maybe checked then unchecked the box for the extra $5 to get expert picks. After looking into it, it doesn't clear that until you refresh if you uncheck it. I promise that wasn't by design because I hate little sheisty tricks like that as much as anyone. If you got charged the extra $5 and would like that bit refunded, don't hesitate to email us and we'll take care of it for you. I had never seen any mention of that until here. Sorry again yall

Lets guess on and be on the low side, The prizes seem to be donations so $35.00 x 5000 paying participants = $175,000. Not a bad payday.

Sign up for the industry idiots league on pulp if you want a decent chance to win some money. There is already $13,000 or so in the pot. I got 24th in the championship league last year and didn't win anything, but it's worth the $35.

There were just over 3,000 last year if I remember correctly and I think that included the non paying members. Still a hefty payday for the money invested. I doubt the three bikes they give away are donations. Discounted, no doubt.
