2019 was kind to our tiny nation. 4tn in MXDN, and today Ott Tänak and Martin Järveoja was crowned as a 2019 WRC champs. It's the first time in the history of world rallysport when Estonian won the championship.

Good to be motosport fan these days

I have friemds who work for the team, he is a great guy . Miss working in WRC , were good times back in the day. Marko Martin was Estonian i think, he was a great driver .

Yes Markko himselt won 5 rallys during his career, and 2004 was 3th in WRC owerall.
As it now, Markko is manager for Ott

I was in the stage where Markko had his big crash in Rally GB.. i think he did well to come back from that. Those were good times, some great memories.

It was quait a joyrney for Ott. In 2012-2013 he was basicaly writen off from WRC scene. 2013 he raced only Estonian cc. Only 2015 M-Sport give him a new (last) chance to peove himself Speed wasn't never the issue. The crashes were.

Like this spectacular one.

This is always the problem, you can be fast , but if you keep throwing it at the scenery you dont last long .. Kris Meeke was in the same boat , almost gone and then made his way back in. Elfynn Evans is looking like he will around a while, be interesting to see what the rule changes do to the participation moving forward.

Having been in car with some top guys , the commitment they show , and trust in the notes is just unreal. It is like sitting in a video game .
