Links not working...

Grant has a YZ250...probably won't use it in front of a camera now that he,s with Honda.

He's a big 4 stroke fan...

He probably figures that since he can't find any evidence that Trey has had to order replacement parts for the bike, that means he's never ridden it.

You can't blame him for that. It's just his own personal experience showing through.

His mother stated that in another thread here. Can't blame him though and can appreciate that he's got his head screwed on straight enough to realize he has a short window of opportunity to make it in this sport. Very few people making really good money in this sport, and he's not getting paid to ride a 2 stroke. Just the fact that he keeps one around though.....let's me know that he really does have his head screwed on straight!Smile

Oh the irony of shooting from the hip and being so off target.. I'll also mention you are very properly named.

A while back wasn't Trey supposed to do that 125 race with Pastrana at Reynards track in Oklahoma but Honda put a stop to that idea with SX testing coming up so he had posted he still attended to sign autographs for fans. I figured he was riding the bike at home getting used to it for that race??

Vuilleman has a sweet old YZ250 he restored, I think there was a thread on here as well.....
I would think McGrath has one, he was the 250 king.

Also wrong. Trey's mother said on here that he made the decision not to ride a bike that was unfamiliar to him... too risky.

JGRMX had a two-stroke that Josh rode at X. I'm not sure how that translates to, "Josh has a YZ250."

If I could ride a factory 450 for free whenever I want, or pay out of pocket to ride a stock 250 2-stroke, i'd probably go the 450 route.

There's a vid of him getting ready to go test his new Honda and we can clearly see a YZ250 in his garage... I think that vid was on Transworld...

In the real world, we see a person riding a bike in a moto and we assume it may belong to them. That's understandable.

Trey rides for Nonda. His paychecks come from Nonda.

What do you think him and his family are going to say with regard to 2 stokes?

They wouldn't want to pick up the telephone one day and get the news that a guy in Japan named Sushi Hibachi was going to do Boss Karate on their contract, or on their paycheck.

Thanks,

Jim

Yep, It was sitting in his garage and you can clearly see it in the vid. It had all the graphics torn off it, so I think there is a fair chance it is his !!

"SNAP" is all I can say there.

Miss Canard, we all appreciate you posting here and putting people in their place when they get out of line. Please don't let a few squids on this board stop you from playing in our sandbox!
