First and foremost let me make this clear, I don't want this thread to turn into a religious debate train wreak that leaves both sides of the isle blue in the face. The only reason I'm posting this is because I think it is very well done and took a lot of guts for a company to put out there. Like it or not, pre-race prayers have been around for as long as I have known and I think the message said here is something all riders can relate to, so I think a little respect to the man who wrote it and the company that put it out for all to hear is due. Again, please just enjoy it for what it is and don't make me regret posting this, I just thought a lot of others here would like to hear this and may not have seen it, so for those who are interested here it is:
GuyB if you think this will turn into a mess please feel free to take it down, I don't want anything negative to come from this.

I've heard Brian say this prayer, or a version of it, many times over the years. Although my personal view is that prayer is a fruitless exercise, the things he's asking for are good things and I like the sentiment he is sharing with everyone at the race track.
Big difference between religion and spirituality. Man has always been spiritual....
Like the fireworks they shoot off during the "Rockets red glare" section of the Star Spangled Banner. They're comforting too.
Puts you in a good mood after hearing him say "Goodmorning Washougal- it's time to rise and shine!!!" at 7a.m.
...he's also been known to sing the Star Spangled Banner himself as well.
It's all part of the Washougal experience.
Thank you Mr. Barnes
