That is a great video, that guy has done balls! I cringe at the thought of that bike landing on him. I know if mine tips over st 800ibs it's going to take a few people to get it upright

Looks like fun but I would prefer to downsize to a Triumph Bonniville and pretend I'm Steve McQueen

TFS must be smiling (thinking of the debate this would have triggered here a few years ago)...

Not the guy in the Video, but
How come 99% of harley guys don't know how to shift?

They go WFO, chop the throttle, about go over the bars, shift, then do it again. All the while making a shit ton of racket and go nowhere.

On the other hand, sport bike guys do not do this.

Looks funny nowadays but back in 1973 it was not unusual to line up beside street bikes of all displacements. My very first race at Hughes Springs TX I had a CL450 on one side and a CB100 on the other. Hell, I was on a KS125 that I put a Bill Wer giss downpipe and hobbies on. I won that day and they didn't even have trophy's to give out.

Forget about bringing the 125 2 smoker class back, I'd pay big bucks to see a Harley only race at the nationals!!

Not this Harley guy! 40 years of riding dirt bikes taught me how to shift and me and my 1700cc haul ass

I hadn't noticed that it isn't actually a Harley, I just thought it was funny.

Sit your woman on it and start it up. If she bites her lip you're good.

Ha. My old man had a sportster that I buzzed the neighbors house with flat tracking a lap around him. The slide surprisingly well.

I really need to do suspension on mine but haven't gotten around to it yet. It doesn't handle like a sportbike, but it definitely is better than most people expect. Definitely not hitting berms with it though!

I spent years on sportbikes and some of the biggest j offs I've seen on the road are on rockets, but no matter what....you'll find ass hats in every demographic. I got a chopper with a 113" s&s and some straight pipes. I rap the throttle all the time to wake everyone up on the road, and I can honestly say it's saved my ass numerous times. The louder the bike the more visible you are to the zoned out cages around you. But I can say there's nothing better than throwing around a full size bagger or a chopper like it's a damn 125. The new Harley's are actually pretty impressive in the performance department. But also, as the saying goes, it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow. Pushing a Harley right to that edge is almost as fun as ripping a rocket.....if you're on a cbr1000rr, you don't even start feeling like your pushing the bike till yur in the 150mph range or standing on one wheel.

An the bike in the vid is def not a Harley....pretty sure it's a v star cause it's shaft driven. But thats some rad riding right there, dude seriously rips better than a lot dudes on MX bikes. I can honestly say I've never hit a berm on a street bikes.....looks pretty damn fun though.

Go replicate what I posted. Thats what 99% of harley guys do. I mean they lay on the handlebars each shift from the compression braking. It's comical like watching a guy on a see saw.

I don't know if they don't know how to grab gears, or do it just to make racket, but each time they shift, they lose 10 MPH, or more.
