Hi! I’m looking for some feedback from other track owners / promoters... we are a new track in CNY...

What insurance companies do you guys use? Have you had experience with more than? If so, what are the pros and cons of who you chose?

Our insurance costs are probably just as high as other tracks, but the company itself is very difficult to deal with.

If we’re going to pay this much money, you’d think they’d at least try to be helpful rather than rude haha!

Secondly... have you ever held a training clinic at your track? If so, how did you go about with your insurance coverage?

Thanks in advance!!

There are limited options for PARTICIPANT liability coverage.

Over the years some local insurance agents thought they could get it but it was never coverage that included participants.

Is the insurance company in a town with a funny name, like sheboygan or something like that, maybe?

I promote flat tack, and we use Jones Birdsong and have used them for several years. They are also AMA approved if that matters. They are very easy to work with, and do offer a lower rate for practice/clinics etc.
