Well, based on what Tyla was testing here on September 11th, a rear holeshot device, and carbon subframe...

And whatever they've got going on with the clutch (guessing for data acquisition)...

Also KYB suspension.

Brilliant idea. A rear link holeshot device. In the us mb1 suspension sells them and is a business partner with a guy in Europe that produces them. Very trick.

that was one of the magic things about MX - now I rarely even look at a bike, I just watch the race

I don't really think having factory bikes in Japan and Europe has made it impossible for a privateer to race against a factory rider, the hungry privateers rise up to the top just like they did back in the USA before the production rule.

if it is really just the AMA creating a new rule at the request of the Japanese bike producers, why wouldn't they have it in Europe and Japan too.

Bring back the factory bikes to the USA !

Please don't question their wisdom, they can do no wrong and someone will have had enough Koolaid to tell you so.

It was actually 'Flavor Aid' in Jonestown. Grape flavored to be exact.

Why can I not see a brake or shifter pedal?

Do you think there is a chance it could be hidden behind Tyla's boot?

Those are located on the handlebar. He probably runs his brake pedal high and it's on the inside of the boot in the picture. The GP bikes do have brakes and a manual gear box.

There is no production rule in the GP's. They run automatic transmissions and telepathic braking systems.

The Clutch thing looks to be a slave cylinder. Kaw is probably testing a hydraulic clutch.

You can see the shifter but its hard to see. The brake pedal is above his foot/beside his foot.

In the RV first ride in Europe video, he is running a hydraulic clutch. That has to be a slave.

I'd be surprised if he sticks with KYB.

He brought Showa to Kawi in his first year on 450s... I doubt he'd want to change that.
