You guys may remember seeing this self engage launch assist a year and 4 months ago on a few pro bikes while the product was in initial development.

If everyone has a device like this it still comes down to a racer with developed starting technique.
I understand the idea behind the device and they do what they are supposed to do however IMO they are another bling item that advantage no one at our level of racing.
My point is we could all use some practice at our starts.
I've had more than one moment on the start that one buddy or another was super late to show up and set my device, and I had to sheepishly ask some other dude to do it for me. Oh the shame
