What’s with most of pro circuit parts always being out of stock? Always looking for a kx125 98 pipe with no luck. I’ll give them that particular pipe prob isn’t in high deman but even looking for triple clamps for my new 150 without any luck. Come on Mitch let’s get some parts rolling for us two stroke junkies! Perches, dog bones, triples and pipes oh and can’t forget case covers

It's everyone. Supplies are hard to get for every industry right now. HVAC has been no walk in the park, believe me.

Does it really make sense for them to ever make that pipe (98 KX125) again?

We've been out of stock or low stock on a lot of things (slowly catching up!). It's not a supply issue, at least for us; it's a manpower issue. I can easily order the material we need and get it here next day, but we only have so many people and so many machines to actually make the parts, so it takes a while to get things back in stock again (and no it's not as easy as buying more machines and hiring more people).

Anodize has been a big delay lately too as they're slammed as well. What took a few days in the past is now two weeks!

On top of that, if we're out of stock on multiple items, we have to prioritize what gets made first. And that usually means the most popular items get made first. So, in the case of Pro Circuit, that's probably not a 98 Kawi pipe... They're probably prioritizing 4 stroke exhaust and other big sellers first. It sucks, but that's how it is!

Because of the snowstorm that hit Texas there's a raw material shortage for paint. All manufactures are going to be hurting real soon.

Totally agree.

I tried to get a Monoshock bladder and a downpipe last week for my 1976 YZ 125X - and can you believe they hung up on me?

Get with it Mitch...

Can’t imagine why a ‘98 pipe isn’t their top priority in the middle of a pandemic/supply chain debacle. Those were terribly slow bikes, nothing a pipe will fix that’s for sure.

I am working on investigational drugs for COVID-19 lung damage, cancer and liver disease and we can't test them because the plastic dispensing tips are prioritized for covid testing.

As I drive over the SF bay most days, dozens of container ships are parked up and can't unload.

Add in the blocked Suez canal, there are gonna boost of empty shelves in the weeks to come

I understand the flak but as u can see I did say I realize the 94-98 pipes are not too priority which is why I also said I can’t get shit for my new 20 ktm150 or yz125.

The ‘98 KX125 pipe is unique to that year model alone. I wouldn’t expect them to ramp up a production run of them anytime soon.

No it wasn't. Before COVID I could order anything to my shop and have it here in 2-3 days. Since March last year I get lucky if the BO date is only a couple weeks away. I've started to see most get pushed to July lately.

Raw materials are scarce in the plumbing field as well. ABS,PVC, stainless, are all back ordered. Forget about deadlines.

Is there a reason Anodizing is necessary other than appearance? It seems like most of us would go for a raw product if we could get it sooner and cheaper.

It depends on the part. Anodize is great for appearance, but also adds a very hard and scratch resistant layer, and can add lubricity needed in some applications.

As a general rule, we don't ship anything without anodize; only in special circumstances. It's like finishing a part to the 95% mark and calling it done. When you're spending nearly $1k on triple clamps, they should be 100% finished!

Another use - all of our 1 1/8" bar mounts are anodized black. And all of our Fatbar36 mounts are anodized clear. So if someone calls about some bar mounts not fitting or something like that, I can just ask what color they are and know what size they are right away. We have other parts with similar color coding too.

Are you talking about the 30th anniversary PC version? If so Western Powersports has a bunch in stock, I'm looking at their site as we speak. WPS part number 51-1917 PC number 285540-1054349

Like stated above any WPS dealer can get them. Local dealer had them in stock. Got a pair sitting on my dresser still in the box

forget raw materials, the scarcest thing in the plumbing/mechanical industry is brains, but they are way overstocked with idiots.

But that is another topic for another time.
