Hardly anyone is speculating about the outdoors on here yet we have tons of great content from the media coming out with their preview shows and podcasts.

We’re less than 10 days out so instead of arguing over Suzuki’s and Gas Gas’s, let’s talk outdoors!

What storylines are you most excited about?

Who’s your end of the year top 3 in each class?

And go...

Most excited about Sexton. The improvement in race craft and technique he showed in just over a year was incredible to watch in SX. Excited to see him ride with the big boys

I just hope Ferrandis and Tomac don't run away with these titles...

Looking forward to seeing what Anstie can do

I think Wacko is being overhyped a bit in the pulp empire. He’ll be good but hardly a Tomac challenger

Call me crazy if you want but I think this is Roczen's last big contract and he'll pass the torch to Sexton as main Honda guy in 22 or 23

Only 9 rounds. A DNF Moto will be hard to come back from. Strategy will be interesting, who comes out swinging vs. who is conservative and is okay with a podium in the first 3 rounds.

Wanna see what Webb has this year. 450’s are going to be more stacked than SX with Moose-can back, Adam C., Sexton, Ferrandis. Insane! Barcia, AP. Don’t think Tomac has a lock at all.

250’s, man a lot going on there too. Martin brothers. Can Jeremy reclaim his title? Justin Cooper will be a top contender and there’s some beef between him and Jeremy. They both want the title badly! Usually some lower supported guys will surprise some people... keep an eye on Short and Thurman from Texas. Like to see them rise up the ranks.

Intrigued about how Sexton and Kenny will go for differing reasons, and the Star Yamaha team in the 450's

Ferrandis is still racing 250s for outdoors this year. With these big gaps in the sx and mx schedules my mind keeps jumping ahead to next year also. With all the speculation surrounding Yamaha's 450 effort for next year its an easy mistake to make.

Looking forward to seeing how Moose fits back into the equation! And of course where the Lawrence brothers sit both among the pack and between each other.

I think people are sleeping on JA 21. I think he wins his first overall this year and gets top 4 in the championship.

I think Eli is the favorite but if there is to be a slip up before he retires from outdoors, this is the year.

I think KR can’t handle 9 in a row so fast. 1-2 rounds will be the difference here and he’s due for one of those head scratching rounds where he gets 9th and you’re just confused. LL will be hot. WW ranch will still be hot.

I think Marv will win an overall or two but it will be later in the season as he gets his legs back under him.

Barcia is a sleeper. Won’t win a title but could come out
swinging at LL. He was recently training at Matt Walker’s facility which has an exact replica of LLs. Might be a huge advantage for 1 round.

I think Chase Sexton is up and down but I think he shocks at LL because he’s raced it most recently. Maybe a top 3 Moto finish and top 5 overall for his first Moto.

Zacko will do well and win an overall or two.

I also think Cooper Webb could be sneaky good after coming up short in SX.

Either way it’s gonna be exciting!!!

Hmm. I just assumed he would ride the 450 again. That is a good question. He rides the shit out of a 450. Saw it in person at Budds. I'd rather see him on the 450

Seems like heat and conditioning will be a factor this year. Hottest and most humid summer ever in the northeast. Whats it been like elsewhere?

Insanely humid in CT. Last Sat it was difficult to breathe just doing menial tasks nevermind pounding out motos

This is an unfair narrative. He hasn’t had a perfect season outdoors or anything. Yes he’s been the best guy, but plenty of riders over the past few years have kept interesting be it KR, MM, or BB.

With it being this late in the year, I'm a little surprised that Honda isn't racing the 21' model. Maybe they couldn't make it legal in time.

He won by 58 points last year. That's not exactly close. I think Tomac coming off the SX title will be unreal outdoors and everyone will be wondering where he went. I hope thats not what happens as great racing at the front would be much more fun for us.

I'm not afraid to say that barring one Tomac's DNF everyone else is racing for second in the championship.

In the totality of a season he’s going to win. You’re absolutely right. I do think this year is his least amount of Moto wins in the last 4 years. The field is too unreal. I think at least 8-9 people can legitimately win motos. Eli might get the most 2nd places of his career this year but I think he still wins the title and has at like 4 overall wins out of 9.
