Did yall see Barcias bike on MXA? I wonder what peak hp and torque is? Has anyone been up close with a pro bike to see weight and peak hp?

I know im obsessed with the weight but when I rode an 18cr450 I felt like I was on a fore wheeler.

The more they torque the sprocket bolts, the faster they go. I bet its still not as fast as a SUSZUKI though. Much TY

With the crazy amount of effort they go through with that bike why would they not be right on the weight limit?

Peak hp: at least 100 mph bro

Peak torque: you bet it does

After looking at the bike in person ive concluded that it produces 73.4hp at 8k rpm

There's not a legal way to get the weight down further or without going to some insane measure which would compromise the durability/ride-ability of the bike.

With a stock frame, engine cases, cylinder and head and considering durability factors required for SX racing there's only so much they can shave off...

Remember when bikes weren't overly complicated, expensive, heavy and powerful death machines? Hey, traction though.

And there goes Jeffro. One of God's own prototypes. A super high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I remember carbon-fiber monocoque subframes on factory Hondas...
In the 80s.
I remember aluminum framed OW500s from Yamaha...some with electric power valves...
In the '80s.

I ripped a start from Egypt and I was happy about that.

That’s odd. I could have sworn i was looking at 71.6HP when i looked at it. Must be time to recalibrate my eyeballs...

You mean when bikes were literal works bikes with everything as a one off and nothing could be bought in stores?
