I’m curious how pricing is throughout the US right now? New and used.

I was in contact with a seller looking at a 03 CR250. Damn nice bike, not beat up, no title, 5100. Felt like it was a grand or so high, but pre covid this bike was 2500-3k all day long. I’m sure it will sell, but it just blows my mind these sold for 5500 brand new in 03.

Here in Minnesota prices are coming down, but it is seasonal here and they usually do go down this time of year. But like everywhere prices had been way up.
Now they seem pretty normal heading into fall.
I've been seeing good deals on the local Craigslist and Facebook a lot. even saw this CR and quite a few in the same price range.

That's a great price on the CR125. Must have sold quickly.

It did I saw it pop up and went and looked again an hour later which is when I took that screen shot and It was already Sold. I saw a couple others in the same price Range but not as a nice looking as that one.

I’ve got dealers trying to charge $1500-$2000 in junk fees on new bikes around here…I called a local KTM dealer about a 2022 KTM e5 last week…msrp $5100…out the door $7200. I NOPED out of there so fast…found another dealer about an hour and a half away $6300 OTD on a Husky ee5…which has an MSRP of $5200.

Used stuff is comedy around here…

Dealers are riding the gravy train of availabilty vs demand. Full msrp, $500 freight, $450 set up, $200 documentation fee, sales tax even if out of state, etc. Add 2k to the msrp for the otd and thats before they try to sell you a $1200 maintenance/warranty lol. Plus run you through the ringer in parts dept assuming you don't own anything. And they dont want you to pay cash since they make even more if you finance. The entire dealership buying experience is painful and borderline abuse. Dropping $10,000+ on a new bike should be a fun event not a god damn nightmare.

I paid $12,500 Ltd for a 2022 ktm350sxf about a month or so ago. Used prices are coming down. Still seems to be a new bike availability issue around Chicagoland.

Not all dealers are like that,
My brother is a Polaris/Kaw/TM dealer here and doesn't tack on bullshit fees. I guess thats why in a town of 6000 people he's one of the biggest Polaris dealers in the state.

You can still find used deals if you're not in a hurry. I got a used 2019 YZ125 with 5 hours for 5k. Pre covid probably cheaper but I was content with it.

10 Cycles (Brayton's place) had a very well used 2021 FC 250 with 83 hours on it for the low low price of $9600 OTD. How could one even entertain dropping that kind of money on a used up dirt bike?

People in Northern Indiana have been trying sell 05 cr125's for $3k. Although most have been on the FB Marketplace for months now. If I could find one for $2k like that I would jump all over it.

Used prices still inflated in the northeast, very low inventory on clean used bikes. Prices coming down on the junk that people have not been able to unload. I have 2 dealers that I use for new, one wanted almost 1k over msrp. The other sold me a bike for below msrp. To help offset the NYS sales tax. I only have 1 dealer now for my new purchases👍

It’s not as bad here in SoCal anymore. Harder to sell one right now honestly. Maybe it’s just the 17 Honda that is hard to sell.

I just paid 9650 out the door for my Kx450x 2022 model.
I guess it just depends on the dealer.

The transportation fee is feeling the inflation effects(bidenomics). Saw an article about a trucking firm in Texas paying 5K$ a week.

I,ve been looking for years for 05-07 cr125,s, clean ones sell for 6,500. The ones for 3,500 sell in 1 day. I learned to hv the cash text the pic of the cash and say I,ll pu it up tomorrow. I missed out on dozens of bikes by having to wait until Monday to get the cash no one will wait they all sell to the 1st buyer. The good news on the cr125 is that there is a few out there with original tires yet. To the op there is a clean 05 cr250 in Mendoza iL. For 3,750 owned for 12 yrs rebuilt bottom top, I thought of getting it. But I,m a 125 specialist haha.

I drove to Rockford I didn’t feel like driving because I do it for a living. I missed out on another 05 cr125 thurs. so I see this other 05 posted again the price dropped 500. I would’ve paid 3,500 anyway it had the own tires on it. Basically I hit the lottery. I,m going to run the 05 engine in my 04 chassis. Super busy now changing jobs also % pay much better.

You make me want a CR125 again, I feel like we’re the only ones.

Oh they definitely sell for that $3k with little to no issues at least here in Chicagoland. I have a 2000 CR125 that was listed for $2800 and it sold within 2 days for close to asking price. If I wanted to argue on price, or wait for the second person to look at it I could've sold it for asking price. Long story short I have it back again and this time around it'll be closer to asking price for a sale to happen

That’s a 2011 price when no one wanted a 125. A member on here post that Mn. Bike. I sent him a message that I would b home 9-27 aprox and will pay 2,350 cash. I got no response and it was sold as usual when I got home. 04 cr125 prices have been higher than 05-07 recently. I don’t get that one I owned 2 04,s one was bought new. The used 04 is quite a bit stronger probably because of the 4 replates and the transfers being cleaned up a bit. Seller of the 05 builds Af cr500,s on the side he had some super trick bikes he,s building rmz250 jsr frame with works suspension and a 07 125 engine and a crf450 frame into a cr500 conversion.

*Newsflash* It's not 2003 anymore, and Honda doesn't make a CR250 anymore...

It crazy, I paid 2,200$ for my 03 CR125 in early 2005.

Prices are still high in Nebraska at dealers. Facebook marketplace prices are insane for crap but they aren’t selling like people think. Stuff is sitting there for weeks and weeks.

I have a 2003 rm 250 if anyone wants it. Make an offer. It will uship for like $300-400

Historic rates now everything is 2 yrs behind. 1 broker pal at a mega carrier said there people that they pay big money to study future trends say the next 2 yrs the rates will keep climbing. I,m electronically signing docs this morning. Jumping ship this co pays 30% 3,000-4,500 a week 1099 Chicago Eastern European co. O/o 16-18k a week

Yeah cr125 prices went up a lot because there the coolest and best feeling bikes . Jimmy D videos and that 12,500 mecum new 07 cr125 really pushed the prices up. I can’t believe the 05 I found it had the oem tires on it yet. Seller changed the rear. The Thursday 05 I missed was in s. Wi. He,s a fast a rider with a bike shop also. You see the 500 engine on the shelf he ceracoated that. I paid 2,995 for my new 04 in 06.

SoCal is pretty bad and was looking for a new project. Picked up this 94 YZ250 for $600 with blow top end. Just cleaned up, put in new top end, and new graphics (still looking for blue shrouds).
