A friend of mine, his kid, is interested in the sport. So he asked me if I could look out for a bike. But (dunno if this is also in America) but the prices on the second-hand market are ridicule. I'm looking for a 65cc bike.
I came across a bike from 2007, and they asked 1800 euro. I also came across a PW50 build in 1990 and that owner still wanted to make 880 euro. That seems pretty much for old bikes no?

1. When it comes to motorcycles there seems to be a floor of around 700 for pw and pit bikes and around 1300 for anything bigger as long as they are working
2. Always assume they will come down at least 150. And if you actually go see them and have cash with you they will always come down another 50-150. Selling the bike is a hassle and they just want to get it over and done with.
That has been my experience in the US. I'm talking dollars but the conversion doesn't matter. The numbers seem about the same.
