Have been mulling ONE MORE BIKE and found a trail ridden 2017 KTM 350 with 115 hrs. Dealer maintained. Guy is getting out of riding apparently. Only obvious thing wrong from pic is a dent on front wheel.

How much?

115 hours? I’m at 4500 max. But in Denver, that motherfuck would be lined with gold or coke and be asking 7500

Not more than 5 out the door. If those are his boots, he couldn’t have rode it real hard I wouldn’t think.

Kbb.com and you put in zip code so its local value as different places changes the amount someone would pay in that location.

Realistically I guess because it’s a 2017 and a 350 it’s probably worth around $4-4500. I don’t think I could ever bring myself to buy a used 4 stroke with over 100 hrs. If it was me and I was buying used I’d probably do a top end , but it’s a tough one if you don’t know exactly what maintenance has been done.

Figure suspension and bearings “should” be serviced every 20 hrs at least, plus top end at roughly 100hrs and whatever else it needs. If you can do all that work yourself you could have that bike fully serviced and ready to go for $5500 maybe?

I bought a brand new leftover FC350 for $7500 last year. This post may not be much help but I look at bikes with over 100 hrs like cars with over 100k miles for some reason and I’m probably crazy for that Haha

Thanks. Listed for 5k, I'm feeling 4500 would be OK but it's still a lot of hours.

Will wait for lower hour one.

For 45-5000 I would pass... 115 hrs COULD mean complete rebuild time. I would low ball the dude and see what happens. From the right person 115 isnt terrible, from the wrong person it’s a grenade

According to the Vital brain trust its about 15 hours beyond the point where a KTM should have disintegrated into pile of ash. If you go look at it, dont touch it.

Seriously though, theres a 16 Husky 350 in the bazzar thats down to 4500 with like 40 hours on it. Hold out for one like that.

I think it's laughable how 100 hours has become the defacto number that qualifies a bike as having "too many" hours.

That said, while it's kind of hard to tell from the photo, to me the motor doesn't look exceptionally clean. My rule of thumb is that if they don't spit shine it when they're trying to sell it, how well do you think they took care of it when they weren't?

I have 98 hrs on my 16.5 450sx, new top end at 70hrs, mechanic said really did not need it, valves still in spec. I have replaced all the normal wear items, chain sprockets, tires, brake pads, rear chain guide ect. Shifter tip starting to show some wear & the ribbed seat cover started to tear at the seam around 40 hrs, so I put a new complete seat on it. I just put all the original Oem plastic on it. If the bike did not have an hr meter on it, you could never tell it had almost 100 hrs, the bike looks & performs perfectly.

Seriously? I am not hater I just own one and I see my Frend's own some too. I do have some experience with those bikes! I am a mechanic and I know how European cars are realible compare to jap cars . And that is the some thing with motorcycles. Just saying.

Theres ones out there with 10hrs for like 500 more so no way im touching one with 100hrs. Not like there's a shortage of hardly ridden bikes wait for the right bike. No way 100hrs is the right bike to me.

Wtf is this guy talking about? Good advice about finding a better deal. They’re out there. But that bike could be perfectly fine for another 200 hours. There are lots of dudes on TT with 300-400 hours on theirs w no motor work. And I personally know of one over 300 with no issues. Not my style, but the point is it’s impressive nonetheless

It could be if maintenance was lacking.

Please direct me to some 2017+ KTM 350's with 10 hours on them for $5,500. I'm interested in buying a few at that price.

Somehow he was able to harpoon a blue whale and get it balanced on a stand in front of his garage for a photo.

The list of things recommended to be replaced by KTM/Husky include the crank and all bearings, top end, timing chain and valve. 100 hours is the rebuild everything point.

The Japanese dumped so much radioactivity into the ocean that those big blue whales practically beach themselves.

10+ year old 250 two strokes with 1,000 hours = INSTANT BUY

Well maintained 4 strokes pushing 100+ hours = run away

Move along...nothing to see here.
