Big pro purse, I'm sure there will be some speedy privateers. Might as well call it the Chiz Open.

Anyone going?

The Chiz Open, now that’s a good one. Dade Cuty has always had good pros come out of there. Would be cool to see some of these west coast pros at Dade City, dirt there is like no other.

Next to a prepped Bremen (RIP King), Dade's night track is the best surface I've ever ridden. The perfect sand/clay mix. I hope to ride it again someday.

I never knew the dirt was that good there. Since I've moved to Florida and got back into dirt bikes I've primarily raced Hare Scrambles. The only moto tracks I've ridden are Gatorback/Diamondback, Tampa MX and Pax which is my goto because it's only ten/fifteen minutes from my house. Looks like I will have to go try it out one of these days.

I kinda thought $10k was a decent purse for a local track on a Thursday. Winners share is $4k and I'd be willing to bet that the winner will make more on Thursday than he does on Saturday at Daytona.

It most definitely is a good purse, hence my comment.

I'm just poking fun at the guy that posts under bsracing777. Every once in awhile he pops up in here starting threads asking people if they know of any big money races coming up.

People point him in the right direction, yet no one ever sees him at any of those races.

When I was staying at my in-law's in Ocala every Winter, I would tow almost 2 hours each way to Dade for Thursday night practice and Saturday races each week. And I was living only 5 minutes from Hardrock...
I've ridden a lot of places around the country, but that track will always be a favorite.

If you're nearby McG, I highly recommend giving it a shot.

Shit job of getting this out there. It's been a great event at TampaMX the past several years (wonder how Randy ended up with it this year?) and one I always look forward to. This is the first I've heard of it being moved to Dade City. I now see it on their FB page (no mention on IG), but already made plans. Bummed.

I could've swore I saw TampaMX's facebook advertising it a month ago. I'm curious on why they changed it, if they would've kept the AX track from last weekend it would've been a perfect track.

I put that on there because I worked with a guy a couple years ago that had a Bad Boy Club tattoo and I dug that he lived through it when it was cool to out of style and most likely embarrassing then back to retro cool.

I kind of wished I did it bigger on my radiator shrouds but I had to rep the new business venture I'm starting.

Former Florida Pro, now living in California and racing Vet stuff, but I can validate what everyone is saying about Dade City. It’s a killer track and always has been.

It's amazing how few pro's ride these events. How many privateers are in Florida right now that could use some extra money.

Seems the poor privateers are not as poor as some of the snowflakes on Vital like to make them out to be Wink

Listenig to JT$ one of the smartest thing he did is race all the non "big races".

Things like this are where you can really make the money as they are really only racing against 5 or 6 other top guys.

He led most of the heat, but the 350 XCF might not be the best bike for the job.

Edit: Not sure why he's listed on Yamaha.

It's good enough for Bowers and Chiz to show up. I guess the guy struggling to make the night shows are just to cool.
