It is. Health insurance is mandatory. 125$ a month or obviously more if you want to. Doctors don’t work for free, not even in Switzerland.

The people are divided even more... there is some real crimes taking place and we are fighting each other over a piece of paper over our face.

Prado probably isn’t in too many high risk categories himself, unless he has some underlying health conditions that he is able to manage and compete at the highest level.

But the risk is certainly in spreading it to others, like Pit Beirer, who may have a more compromised health situation.

I haven’t seen any indication that Prado is anything except a stand up guy, and I’m sure that his worry is more for those around him who may not be as healthy as he is. I doubt he’d see something like Beirer catching this virus as ‘just nature thinning the herd’.

C’mon guys, this is going way off course now. Let’s not allow our emotions to get the better of us.

Best wishes to Prado on a speedy recovery & hopefully he’ll be back on the gate at Trentino 2.

Lucky he doesn't live in America. Even on that Factory KTM salary, he couldn't afford the health care in this dump of a country.

Depends on the time of year, I think I will need a second home in Southern Spain for the winter.

I'm working my way backwards through the thread. So far, it's three on the sidelines, and one deleted completely.

I sat out a chunk of last week with a retina tear, and a laser procedure to fix it. I'm working through the backlog now...and boy are there a bunch of logs in here.

Biggest spill I've seen in quite a while, chief. It was hard but I managed to not step in it. Whistling

So wtf are you guys planning to accomplish by dilligently masking up and social distancing and whatever else? You gonna outlive a virus? That hanes bra cup on your coworker's face filtering out the .01 micron sized virus?
The vast majority of evidence thus far is that it's predominately spread through droplets, not an individual .01 micron virion. Those red concrete balls outside Target's doors don't stop people from walking in, but they do a great job at blocking an SUV full of them from barreling through. The fact that masks don't block individual virions is irrelevant. They block the much larger droplets full of the virus that actually cause infections.

It's like an episode of the twilight zone. You face a future with no sight and hopefully get it repaired, then the twist is this thread is the first thing you see again!

Hope you are ok, my co-worker just had that done, he's fine now.

Does anyone know how Prado is doing? Hopefully he doesn't suffer the long-term effects we're seeing in some COVID-19 patients.

Dunno but he's young & fit so chances are he'll be fine.

The immediate question is whether he can get clearance to ride any of the Trentino GPs. Not sure when he'll be able to even leave Belgium and enter Italy.

Rossi has missed back to back GP’s due to covid so I’ll doubt Prado will be back this weekend.

I like living in Canada. Though I could do with less winter. It has almost everything I need and if
I need anything that we don’t have (aftermarket parts), I am only a couple minutes drive and a friendly visit with our US Customs representative from the US of A.

Considering Prado's superior world class fitness and diet, It's not surprising that he can race at a high level with the virus. It seems rare that a person with a high fitness level gets gravely ill, at least I have not heard of any.

Meanwhile people with a poor processed food diet, no exercise, and underlying medical conditions are getting extremely sick or worse.

this is a wake up call for the dangers of mass produced and processed garbage food and no exercise, that is the way I see it. in America, 1 in 10 has diabetes, and 89 percent of those people are morbidly obese.

Exactly right !!!!! If the Goverment wants to control the people like Hitler maybe they should start with everyone's diet and put out their cigarette's.
