Has anyone had their clutch cover powder coated? If so, how did it hold up. Debating on having mine done.

I powder coated the clutch cover on my 2014 KTM 450 and it didn't hold up that well. I painted it in black so it got kind of ugly after a few hours on the bike. But i didn't take my time and put any base color and i didn't sandblast the cover so i guess that you could get a relatively good result if you do it properly.

I had one line-x. Sprayed before. I see that bike maybe once a year at races and it still looks like brand new

Powder coated my engine covers on my RM125 and they held up super good. Typical wear and scuffs, but it didn't actually wear all the way through the paint.

I wore thru mine in 2 hrs, properly made..

If your not wearing thru it, you don't pinch with your legs and feet Grinning
