How many people knew his motor let go which cause him to crash and injure himself! Watching the preview show they say he threw it away. Which in reality it was his bike. I think that is part of the reason Mitch has such a soft spot for him. 2 years in a row championships gone due to mechanicles!

If my memory serves me right (it rarely does) he just rolled down the hill on it.. but Ocscottie is right, someone needs to bootleg this ASAP!

It was actually running when the guy rode off on it and rode it to pourcels mechanic

Would be many that argue Pourcel lost the title in Moto 2 at Southwick where he finished 11th and stated he just didn't feel like riding anymore after he got pinched off in the first turn.

They both had an issue that can happen, it's racing.

Wasn't there an interview with Pourcel where he says he took a different line trying to avoid a lapper?

who really cares about DNF, mechanicals, DQ etc - shit happens in racing, sometimes it is and sometimes isnt your fault,

what i am saying is the things that happen can never be counted at the end as a "could have, would have, should have" scenario - thats total rubbish !

Reed could have the SX title had JS not took him off course mid 2011 season etc etc etc.

for the record I amd a big fan of CP and really wished he took it, but looking back, i would say TC well deserved it and I am happy he got it - I am now a fan of his - he is RAD as and I cannot wait until he is back on it in the outdoors on a 450.
