..so where is that guy that was ranting on and on about how there was at least 18 guys who would beat CP377..
I'm looking forward to seeing him finish off the series well and I seriously think he can be a championship contender at SX.
I'll have to assume that he's just the guy I've always thought he was...
Kinda Quiet
Smiles a lot
Stoked when things are going well
Bummed when they're not
Wants to Win...for everyone involved
Always liked this kid...not to mention the Hell he's been thru...& I'm always gonna like him, too.
I'd like to throw something-else out there, too: he's recently changed his status/home to Florida...I can't help thinking...& I'm almost ashamed to think its because of the TOTALLY F'd up & IGNORANT SHIT people have said about him being French...
He does live in FL; but, he's always gonna be a French-Bad-Ass to me. We should be proud that we let ANYONE come here and race. It makes us better. It makes the sport better. It makes me proud.
I'm jus' sayin'...
The Shop
That is a relief to see him ride like that. I thought he looked great immediately on the Huskys but after yesterday now we can see the potential more precisely. I am sure he can do well in SX. As I have always said, a quali killing = most of the time a great start with him, so a good result. His lines & style should also be analyzed for hours every sunday morning in MX schools too ... I loved Langston's comments about CP's mechanics, that looks like a really funny balance.
CP kind of over rode it sometimes yesterday to get back to the speed he needs to be upfront, it is very rare to see him making little mistakes and going all out. That is good to see him trying really hard and going out of his confort zone, once he figure it out he will get the second a lap he needs to be on the podium more regularly.
KTM/Husky are really making an impressive push. KTM with DeCoster being upfront is not a surprise anymore, but now with the Husky effort it makes the KTM/Husky group trusting the top 5 ! It looks more and more like they do in GPs so I can only predict we will see them upfront for long !
one guy on here said CP377 would really struggle this week with the temperature/ humidity?
pourcel is a serious talent! love to watch him ride- expect to see him on the box regularly when he's back to 100% again, with a win at unadilla
Pit Row
I think TeamGreen put it down pretty well. CP is just a very talented, very competitive racer that is only up to his capabilities if he is comfy on the bike, comfy with the team structure & feels like he has what he needs...and deserves, to go fast. He's got all that now, it seems. I hope the guy puts in some podiums before the season wraps.
I'd say both
It was talked about on the broadcast and it makes sense for him to be more comfortable now.
It was cool when Canard defend him on the podium that time when fans were booing him. Canards a stand up guy..
