Let's say that MM25 is in 1st, Webb in second, and Tomac in 3rd. Since no one can pass before the white line, what would prevent the second place dude from taking his time getting going? It would be really obvious what was going on, but wouldn't be breaking any rule that I am aware of.

I said in the race thread before the restart that Roczen should not go and jam everyone up. Ando launched at the exact time as Roczen if he had hesitated ando would have either ran into the back of him and fell down or would have blown past him causing a penalty.

I'd have to back and watch it one more time, but it looks like Justin Hill did a nice brake check just before the white line. Wasn't team tactics but it's definitely not bad idea to give a small amount of breathing room.
