Had a pretty bad swap out a few years ago and have made a full recovery, let's see what everyone has went through and came back from for the love of the sport ?

Take that dirty bike to a drive through wash, they usually charge 5 bucks extra for crazy mud and won’t kick you out for it. Wear your helmet Tyler, wouldn’t want your head feeling like your thumb Smile

Spiral broke my femur in March 2010, never healed fully 4-5 months later but doctor had me walking on it, bone shifted one day broke all screws off and had to have second surgery with bigger rod and more screws installed to get it to heal rest way took almost full year, now I have broken screws in leg non broken screws and a big ass rod, but it rarely bugs me somehow.

NJMPFOD, 2015. Ruptured Spleen, lacerated kidney, fractured 2 ribs and intestinal lacerations. Got a nice helicopter ride to the ICU after landing short after the big double double (back when it actually was a big a** double double) and getting landed on. Deployed right now but got some cool internal bleeding/xray shots at home.

Had a break back in 2012 and had the screws and nail taken out a little over a year later. Don't see how some people can stand all the hardware lol

No pics. Femur, sternum, collar bone in one crash.

Scaphoid in my wrist and the other collar bone in another.

The WORST lingering pain is the damn scaphoid. It hurts every damn day. Range of motion is practically none. It sucks.

I feel like I got out pretty lucky in my time. Metal plate in right forearm, radius was broken so cleanly it would not set so I had surgery, I think this was back in 1982. A recent CT showed a calcification on my right kidney, doctor asked the history and I said I bruised/lacerated it back in 1985! And my right knee has an ACL that is technically attached but not functional, circa 1988.

Bicycle racing contributed a grade 2-3 AC separation and rotator cuff damage to my right shoulder circa 2011.

Left side of body is perfect.

EDIT: Forget about 2x coccyx fractures. I have small piece of my right ilium floating around in my pelvis, this was also seen on a recent CT. And obviously I hit my head a few times, evidenced by the inability to recount all of my injuries.

I was doing a hill climb 4th gear wide open and my front wheel connected with a rock & got wedged between another rock & the other side of a rain rut that I was in. Sent me over the bars hard.

No Pictures or video sadly. But... fractured my pelvis, radius & ulna (forearm) & fractured my elbow. To polish it off I couldn't get up for a half hour because I kept going blind from my concussion.

Rode my dads Polaris Sportsman home while he rode my bike. Ambulances are for wimps. lol
