First off well done, sir! Two fantastic finishes in the muck and you should be proud of what you accomplished today.

Second, way to go on having a plan and doing what was needed to accomplish it. A big thanks to ALL involved, from SOBMX to Chad to your dad to the sponsors, ect.....from not just me but I think I speak for others in this regard. Really, thanks to all you guys. Glad to see you got to race that '85 CR after all that was involved getting it there. I know you wanted to "Dance with the one that brung ya" and you did.

My heart was pounding while watching the live timing of your 250B moto and was stoked when I saw you made some late race passes to break into the top friggin' 10!!! It was exciting to see it happen.

I'm happy for you, dude. Enjoy your LL experience and just know you have a lot of people rooting you on.

Best of luck in the remaining motos Wink

Great post dude, happy for him as well. Just a fun story to follow in general, no matter the final outcome.

I guess you could? Most of us will just post in this thread though because its nice to see the kid do so well on an old bike when most of the other guys are on the latest greatest machines.

Everyone loves an under dog and all of us old guys that were every bit as passionate about moto if not more so as you thumperetts back in our day, loved those Hondas. Hell I think if that 85 could top 10 then my old 83 480 would have stuck a wheel on that 450B podium...yeppers

I wish the track conditions were in better shape, they did what they could with it and made the best of it. Im thinking the mud didn't play in his favor, but he diddnt quit until the checkers. Way to go Jerry!
