Post pics of your MOTO VAN

Edited Date/Time 5/19/2022 4:29pm
Thinking of getting a van to use for hauling my bikes and also as a part time daily driver to keep some miles off my truck. Mostly thinking a chevy express or a low roof ford transit. Post pics of what you have and how you like it. Thanks.

Super underpowered being a half ton extended but has been good, have put on 65,000 since I got it two years ago this month

Chevy Express packed with one full size and one big wheel mini and all sorts of other adventure “stuff”. I love it, vans are the perfect moto hauler IMO.

These pics are from a few months ago, still working and reworking everything, it’s a never ending process

'06 Ford Transit Connect LWB High roof. Ideal size for a daily. Big enough to fit a bike in it without compressing the forks etc but also small enough to park at the supermarket and other places. I believe they came to the USA from '09.

It’s never “done”. . . I’m hoping to get my bed platform made in the next month or so, it’s tough to design since the walls are curved and I need to be able to raise and lower it myself.

It drives great. I have the 3/4t, not a rough ride at all. Handles good except in the winds. The 6spd is spaced pretty well for the 3.7L.

Changed everthing from blue to black, will take current pics with the all black interior and new seats and new sound system installed. Some of these pics are old from when I first did up the van.

2014 Chevy Express 1500 AWD. Just picked it up, I have big plans for it. This is its first camping trip to Vancouver Island on the Pacific coast. It will be a BMX van for my family of 4 racers and our bikes/gear to do the provincial series.

I'm in the market for a small moto van that's easy to maneuver, handles well, and gets reasonable gas mileage. Looked at the Ram Promaster City SLT Cargo today and it pretty much meets the criteria. My bike rolled right in without compressing the forks (it was close, about an inch to spare on the roof), but good luck fitting two bikes in there! It has to be angled to close the back doors:

I only carry one bike 95% of the time, but being able to fit two is really nice. I'm pretty sure the Mercedes Metris will fit two bikes pretty easily as it's longer, but it's another $10k on top of the Promaster. Not sure what I'm doing yet, still weighing the options.

You may missed her while she was in the shop getting an overhaul. Lately, I've just been driving the backup van even though the soccer moms look at me funny for some reason when I pick up my kids from school....

Hey Joe, couple questions...

Is that little countertop thing an off-the shelf purchase or did you fabricate it?

The couch, is that Ikea or custom made?

Thanks

The ladder rack is gone now. Took it off a couple days after I bought her. She's taken some $$$ to work a lot of bugs out , but hasn't given me any problem's in the past 2 years. 99' 3500 extended 1 ton. A lot stronger then my extended Ford I have. Heading to the coast in about 2 hours in it.
