If Feld can dole out 1 million to '1' lucky fan...........that's $55,000 they can add to 18 other supercross rounds purse.

Or they could just make it the $100k MEC and leave everything else just like it is....geez.....

Riders are the foda for every guy and girl who works in the series, for a team or the broadcast and media, to make a good living. These people aren't interested in rocking the boat. Or biting off the hand that feeds them. New year, new riders. As long as the amateur system keeps feeding them, they will have a job.

I am afraid that nothing will come from Limegate. Feld has had no interest in allowing significant Rider or Sports Media input up to this point that I know of. They made a costly mistake and now are trying to put a positive spin on the situation.

They had a riders meeting that hopefully will continue. I will remain skeptical until they have 5-6 of them and something
good comes out of them. They had the Media meeting and it was like the Media finally got invited to the cool kids table. Matthes and Weege couldn't heap enough praise on Feld after years of ridiculing them week after week. Hope they used mouthwash afterwords.

Again, I hope that the media gets more access to Feld and can have some input and hopefully help to make the SX show a better safer series. I again will remain skeptical until there are more meetings and something actually comes out of them. Feld is making good money on SX and really isn't being pushed to change anything. I think most of this is a smoke screen to get past Limegate and then its status quo from there on out. I hope I'm wrong.

The biggest positive by far was that all the riders and teams cowered down and Feld / Dirt Wurx / person that made the call on the lime application are getting away nearly Scott free.

I think everyone at Feld and Dirt Wurx have let out a huge sigh of relief. Financially, it could have been a lot worse for Feld, Dirt Wurx, etc.
