Make your own conclusions, but this is the kind of stupid shit I think of when I wake up at 4 and can't go back to sleep.

2010 Ryan Dungey 368
2011 Ryan Villopoto 341 (Reed 332, Dungey 340)
2012 Ryan Dungey 383
2013 Ryan Villopoto 380
2014 Ken Roczen 367

Racing isn't what it use to be, take that how you will because I'm not saying it was good or bad. In today's racing there are 3-4 guys who are head and shoulders above everyone else and they are the ones fighting for a championship. back in the day there would be 10 guys bating for 1st, how MXGP is today. On another note, people aren't consistent anymore because it is all about speed. Dungey wasn't the fastest ever, but he was always there taking his 1st and 2nd place and winning championships with ease. Especially this year, People are falling and crashing and getting hurt left and right. You stick Dungey, or Poto, or anyone consistent out on the track this year they would have a huge points lead.

My conclusion: Bikes are getting faster, riders and getting faster, sport is getting faster, and the good hard 5 way battles are a thing of the past.

Interesting, I would have thought that Kennys points last year would have a bigger gap to the rest. Dungey and RV were really dominant in 2012 and 2013 too, didn't quite remember that.

2011 was an amazing year indoors and outdoors
