Poetry in motion. Herlings doing laps

I defended Herling's when half you called him a sandbagger. But I still hold to the unpopular opinion that he'd beat Tomac in the GP's over a season, and that Tomac would beat him in the nats over a season.

Cue...Richard Loots.

Why does every thread about Herlings or Tomac has to turn into a shit talking fest between the same people? I think you all voiced your opinion already in the million other threads by talking shit. Let's appreciate a man's talent for once.

"One of the reasons that KTM has made so much progress against the Japanese brands has to be attributed to the chromoly steel frame. Chromoly steel offers both tensile strength and the ability to flex in the right direction. It’s the flex of a steel frame that makes a KTM a very good all-around handling machine. Steel may seem old fashioned, but for motocross frames it is really a very high-tech solution."

So to sum up, too easy to be cocky on a KTM factory.

Watched this guy like 25 times last 5 years in GP's and during training sessions.
I remember I was impressed in the beginning and thought he couldn't go much faster than he did at that time.

But man, he keeps going faster and faster! You should really see this in real life, otherwise you just won't believe how jaw-dropping fast and smooth he is!

Holy shit that was FAST!

As long as he stays in one piece, this man is untouchable.

Eli would get some wins here and there but 84 is just the best right now.
I am a Tomac fan and these are the two best guys with Tomac behind 84

We can agree to disagree, that's fine. Herlings is one of my favorite riders but I'm still not convinced he'd beat out Tomac over the course of a season in the nats. I am convinced that Herlings would beat Tomac in the GP's with ease.

Am I the only one who thought the first few seconds that Herlings was on a 125?

It will be boring to watch the racing for wins (same as any dominant rider in the past) but if you just watch Jeffrey it’s Moto art.

Haha really? I’m a little confused at all the motogod worship in this thread. He looks pretty fast but I’ve watched a thousand videos like this on vital of guys shredding sand against nobody but themselves. I’d say top 5 on a good day...

It seems like people have never seen anything. It's like when Ronaldo makes a kick overhead. Everyone says :"What a genius" when Jean Pierre Papin did it every weekend during the 90s ...Laughing
