Plessinger´s bike at A1

Edited Date/Time 1/19/2022 6:53am
Hello guys, I´m just scrolling through the bikes gallery from A1 and I´ve noticed that Plessinger´s bike has no kill switch nor map switch. On the left side of his handlebar is just clutch lever and it looks like on the right side are just throttle cables and brake lever. Did they get rid off them, or move it to the other part of the bike?

Interesting observation. I'd say that they were not fitted at the time of the photoshoot.

A kill switch is mandatory and should be mounted on the bars.

The Euro's often run two starter buttons and I'd sssume KTM USA would have the same.

If only ML would leave the blady Vital server alone for a few minutes he'd provide us with the answers.

I believe on the new bike the start switch and kill switch are on the same unit (throttle side) So only thing missing would be map switch/traction control/quick shift might not need that stuff for SX

I’ve seen some teams that cut out a spot in the bar pad for them.

The kill/mapping switch is reserved for contenders.

I've seen that too... my ribs have been jacked so many times, I want no part of buttons and crap in my handlebar pad...

If you look closely at the bars, you can the rubber wire straps on the right and a wire on the left.

I think they are installed, just obnoxiously clean routing.
