Man, Plessinger was doing some amazing stuff that first moto. This down hill run was the most impressive though. He was accelerating so hard he was wheeling down!

I think it says more about the tracks everyone else rides in the week. He was so much better than anyone else. While looking slower.

He’s pretty unreal at finding lines too... we all know he’s great when it’s rough or rutty but he’s also great at finding the flat stuff.

Thats where the offroad experience comes in. Honestly i think more mx guys should crosstrain. Zacho did it. Not saying it is the winning formula but you learn how to conquer different terrain.

Haven't watched the TV coverage yet, was there yesterday and that hill is STEEP. Unreal him accelerating down that thing. The little flat section in the middle had huge rut and was making a nasty kicker halfway down, he paid it no attention, crazy.

Until you're there you have no idea how steep that hill is. It used to be even steeper back in the day, that last 65ft used to be damn near vertical. Television doesn't do hills any justice at all.

As someone who has been down Mt. Martin, I can vouch for this. I can't fathom how fast he must have been going down that to make other top pros look slow. It's a shame TV can't show it better.

That was the highlight of the races for me was watching Plessinger down that hill. In person it was insane to see. We might have a new American hero on our hands.

Can someone remind me what the timeline is for him to be on a big bike?? Pretty sure if I recall right, he'll make the switch sooner than later.... 2020?? or 2019 Outdoors maybe??

They said early in the morning before practice that the hill was 45 degree incline and it was the max the bulldozers could go, it was setting off an alarm in the dozers when on them. 2nd 450 Moto looked scary rough at the speeds they where going.

His GNCC experience is likely a big contributor, ain't no tractors grooming the course when you're out in the woods.

The difference between AP23 and Bogle was unreal. Bogle was passed 4 times in 2 laps coming down that hill. Lol

I believe it's been put out that he'll defend his West Coast SX title, then go 450 outdoors. If he wins this year, though, I wonder if the team would have him defend instead?

Just like with Osborne I’m sure the team wants him to defend. If cooper stays at Yamaha than I’m sure he stays 250 all year

I put the radar gun on them in the second moto's for a bit. Tomac, Plessinger, Moosecan, and Roczen all were hitting 49 mph. It was so freaking rough. Hand full of others coming down 45 or so. My gun is a cheap one and was not picking them up until they were a quarter way down the hill, They were prolly moving faster up top.

If I was Roger D, I'd pass on Cooper and roll the wheelbarrow full of money at AP23!

Yeah I second that ..... I hope he develops like his full potential really is on the big bike. That could be something to watch for sure.

...central florida ain't got no hills.

AMart said he can't handle A.P's downhill speed on HIS track?

these florida based boys need to mix up their practice tracks a little...

Anyone else think he will actually be the next guy on a 450 that can win?

Thinking this because of his stature.

All the current 450's riders that are very fast are slightly tall.

Herlings, Tomac, Anderson, Musquin.

Kenny and Cairoli seem smaller but not tiny.

By tall, I mean not a midget.

Other faster guys in the big boy class (Febve, Paulin,)

Other short guys that are fast (Gajser, Barcia, Baggett)

Just seems like lately the taller guys are doing better on the 450

Watching AP at Red Bud and Spring Creek, I can say he is riding that 250F with NFG and just putting the bike wherever he needs to. No one has ridden a 250 in the Nationals like that since Tomac in 2013. I know Aaron is riding a 250 in SX to run the #1 plate, but I really hope we see him on a 450 in the outdoors in 2019!
