Looking at a used Suzuki. Anyone familiar with these markings and can tell me who built the motor? Thanks in advance!

Is the guy you're looking to purchase it from the one who had it built? If not maybe he can point you to the previous owner. Any graphics on the bike with the same letters?
TZR? Tom Zont Racing

Bike is on the 3rd owner and he's unsure of the builder. Might be a older rockstar Suzuki bike. Thanks for the leads--off for some more research.
Thanks much. Anyone know if TLR did 10/11 rockstar Suzuki 450 bikes? I was under the impression yosh did them- but that was just a hunch.
Gannon Audette ran Suzuki’s at that time under the amateur program and TLR was building his engines through his career. Just a couple of fun facts
I believe tlr did the Suzuki city bikes for a few years. I’ll check their graphics file from the bikes but i feel like i remember it being there.
Well I grabbed the bike today, and need to go over it and give it a few things like tires, greese, and a slip on as the stocker is damaged. I do believe it's a TLR motor, which is cool since he gets such good reviews. I'm doubting now if this was a rockstar race bike- maybe just a practice, or a copy... Who knows. Has lots of goodies like oversize welded rads, kit suspension, and tons of carbon but lacking hubs and kinda bummed it doesn't have a full Hinson setup- just a cover.
Ripping around the house it runs extremely well, however I'm just not sure I want to give up my smoker quite yet! Lol. I have a 450 klx, but this is my first track weapon. We will see how I adjust!
I’d bet good money on it being one of Audettes bike. Top amateur stuff has a lot of the pro goodies and Gannon is from that area.
I started tearing into but will get some pics when I get home. It's odd as it has stock hubs and pegs, but still has a Showa a kit and tons of Leo V carbon. No ama numbers- but it's from the 3rd owner so some stuff could have been changed. TLR confirmed its one of his builds but didn't recall who...
I'll post some pics. Just not sure what direction I want to take this. Think I'll give it a good once over and see if it's for me. Gotta admit, it was a spontaneous buy LOL. Those suspenders sucked me in!!!
Starting to go through it and it's quite clean and well maintained... Although previous owner trashed the pipe so undecided how I'm gonna approach that. All in all looks quite good in my opinion.
So far PC A kit (forks and shock), PC clamps, PC link, TLD motor, Hinson cover (only), tons of Leo V carbon, VForce air boot, oversize welded rads, gallifer std front rotor, twin air power low filter kit, vortex ignition, and some other little bits and pieces. Everything greased well, and little wear. Still leaning as not a rockstar bike, although previous over claims it was.
Looks like you have quite the shop to work in.
Could of been a Rockstar amateur team bike.

No clue if real or not, but that bike is bad! If not a team bike it was done right! Nice bike
Edited Date/Time:
Tha is for help and nice words folks. Off to order some bits and call yosh about the refurb program.

Thanks for the compliment. Building my dream shop has been fun and a lot of work, and still in progress, but I'm pretty happy about it.
I have a friend who bought an Audette bike after he graduated to the pros. TLR motor. When they split the cases for a rebuild, the whole motor was polished and looked chrome. That bike was very fast! Good find
Thanks, a bitch slap is headed for my snap on dealer who said it doesn't exist. Possibly it isn't for sale anymore, don't know but that is one sexy box. Trade my chick and her girlfriend all day for that, less the bun in the oven of course. LOL
