Places to ride around daytona

Looking for places around daytona leaving New York Thursday before looking to ride somewhere Friday somewhat close to daytona. Also any leads on safe cheaper or nice areas to stay.

I just stayed down in Daytona Beach for a week between Christmas and New Years - lots of places to ride all within 2 hours of there. The closest place is Pax Trax, its about 45 minutes or so (depending on where you stay) they're usually open almost every day during this time of year. Tons of other places too - Orlando MX, Spyder MX, Bostwick Creek, Waldo MX. Check their respective facebook pages for days/hours that they're open. There's a lot of good riding down there so hopefully the weather holds up for your trip and you have a blast!

Spyder MX and Pax Trax are my favorites tracks and there are a lot of trails in the Ocala National Forest. There is also a place called "the compound" just south of Melbourne.

Head north a1a from Daytona. Past ormond beach look for a place called high tides. Eat there. Continue north, take 100 west until you hit 95 north. Then continue to bunnell and ride at pax.

Or ride first hit high tides second. Love that place. It’s a shack right on the beach. There’s barely any parking. But man it’s good!

Orlando MX and Spyder MX are about the same distance but Orlando is quicker to get to, Pax is closer to Daytona but not open on Friday.

Spyder has a Florida Winter AM race this weekend and the Vet classes have been stacked with a handful of LL top 10 riders like Grewe, Carsten, Dickerson, Koeing, Camileo and Hollister
