Spot the guy who didn't get a gear deal this year. Maybe that gear company should actually hire a designer for a change? (at least it has history unlike FLY)

They have some really ugly gear, but some of the stuff they make actually looks really good (imo). The stuff Deano was wearing last year was so cool.

I had some of their gear back in 2013 and it had some of the best quality I've ever had.

Oneal makes some of the best quality gear IMO. I think most of it looks great too. I don't currently own a set but I've owned several in the past that outlasted all my other gear.

The 2019 stuff looks a lot like the 2018 stuff. That outfit hill wore is a bit rough

Shark stuff from first pic of Hill is awful imo but the rest of the line is nice.
The 2019 stuff looks great especially for those who want solid colours as the mayhem hex line is pretty simple.

O’Neal has years of heritage in the sport. The gear is high quality! I don’t really get bent out of shape over any one brands designs. It’s just a gear design, buy some thing else if you don’t like it. 2019 O’Neal stuff is looking great! I’m a fan.

I got a set of the white/red just because it's what I can get through my distributer. I think it looks good, it's super light and seems to be lasting well..

Opinions are like taste in gear.......everybody has a different view. FLY has history, more than you know. WPS is full of core moto guys that have been around forever and they rock!

Oneal Hardware is some of the most durable gear you will find.

Ugly gear on riders is nothing new. Take a look at the clown suits and horse jockey gear that TLD has put out over the years.

I've had ONeal gear before. It looked great and lasted a long time.

BTW - nice trolling

I have been an Oneal support rider for over 20 years, nothing free just vgood pricing....they were the only ones who would help me when Money was tight. The quality of their pants & jerseys is 2nd to none.....I have jerseys that have been through 10 Gncc"s that still come clean & look great. They have some over the top designs but always have nice solid color designs as well. Great customer service & long history in Moto.....Oneal until the end for me....

the Hardware gear is really really good stuff, nice and clean as well. some of the other stuff isn't my jam at all, but every gear company has it.

as for the company, i've been "supported" for about 4 years now and they are great to deal with.

I like Justin Hill's gear! Diggin the shark bite too that's some classic Oneal stuff.

IDK I just picked up the red/white/blue new 2018 Oneal gear and I like it a lot. The jersey and pants were under $75! I really like them so far. I also have Oneal boots. Oneal is some good stuff in my opinion!

We absolutely love this gear, we’ve been using it since my boy was 6. It holds up well, and they’ve continued to help my son. long time user!!!!!!

I have no issues with the color combinations, gear holds up well and isn’t outrageously priced.

Damn good looking RM250. Kit looks good too. Never owned O’Neal but the hill kit looks “try hard.”

I feel like I should elaborate on my earlier post. I wore MSR during my faster years but it's been about 8 years since I've bought gear. I loved the MSR gear not just because it was free through sponsorship but the designs were really cool.

Now that I have to buy my own stuff all I really care about is price. So I bought some O'Neal gear because that's what I get cheap from cookseycrank.com My first perception was that it was cheap gear because I hadn't hear of it. Now that I've tried it i think that it is very light and just as good as the MSR. The knees are especially holding up well.

I plan to get at least two more sets this summer.

P.S. my 10 year old knee braces and chest protector are wearing out, i need suggestions on what to buy.

Taste in MX gear seems to be no different than anything else in life.....hell, some women think Mick Jagger and Steven Tyler are hot! Even though Hill's red, white and blue bomber gear is not for me, I agree that there is much worse out there. Cool to see all of the positive posts on O'Neal, and all of the great pics from our Vital bros..I too have been a discount sponsored rider and wearing their gear since 2001, and they do make an extremely durable, light, comfortable product for a great price! Highly recommend giving them a try.

Here are my pics from 2001, and then 17 years later (damn I am getting old!)

This is my first set of O’Neal I’ve had for about 3 years now the stuff holds up awesome. I really like how the pants still fit when I eat too many corn dogs and thebway the knees are built. I definetly agree on having a few better designs to choose from
