Good stuff! Van Horebeek does run a funky looking seat / "bulge", never noticed that before!

Very very cool. Great work guys.

I noticed this bracket on Jasikonis' Suzuki at the weekend. It was only on his bike, and only on the right fork leg. Anyone have any ideas what it could be for?

It's the mount for a carbon fiber brake disc guard and a lug guard on the non-brake side.

See above, it's a mount...not a sensor.

Here's a TM pic from the other side.
Looks a bit funny cause of the wide angle lens, only way I could capture in full.
Check the fuel cap, it's in the side panel.

Does BUD racing buy complete KTM 125s and "convert them" or given how few stock parts appear to be on there (especially major ones like suspension, clamps, exhaust, wheels etc.) do they just order the needed parts and build the bikes "from scratch"?

The Bud racing KX125 I think last year they used Yamaha engines I wasn't aware of the change to KTM.

Thanks for reposting Vital. Great stuff. The GP bikes/teams are much cooler than the USA based stuff we usually get to see.

Great photos. Does anyone know what type of pits mats/tiles the Suzuki or Husky teams were using?

Savaste was riding KTM's last year whilst Moreu (sp) was riding a KXF with a YZ engine. The cost to make that bike was high.

True, BUD racing fielded two guys last year that both rode different bikes. The year before that Ruben Fernandez rode a KTM with green plastics and Kawasaki stickers on it. While on the subject of special 125s, Emil Weckman rides a Suzuki that has an old 125 Suzuki engine put in a new Suzuki 250 frame.

Had to find a picture of it. He was quite fast on it last weekend, pulled top 10 starts.

Good to see Lars Van Berkel getting a shot on the factory bike and the Astars jacket to match the kit is cool but I still love the black body warmer over kit look that you see in morning warm up sessions etc, it's something that you don't really see at smaller meetings and that sight, the smell of race gas, only the hardcore fans trackside etc is what being at a GP is all about for me... I love it!!!
