Nope, been closed for a few years now, track is over grown with weeds.

Owner was trying to sell the property, for what seemd like quite a bit more than its worth.

Someone bought it recently and word was that it was supposed to be opening back up, but it really doesn’t look like it now. Sounds like it’s going to be a yard for a big landscaping company

I stopped by last weekend on my way back from LACR. The whole lower parking area is cleaned up and the movie set is gone. It also looked like some of the track on the hill is groomed a bit.

There were a couple trucks parked in there but nothing going on. You could be right tho, they might just be cleaning up for the landscaping company.

Was at its best when Marc Peters had it briefly. Max Track? Or was it still Lemon Grove?

Last time I was there it was a joke. Total 'beater' track. Should have gotten a refund.

Marc Peters always had that track in as awesome shape as it could be. It was still usually shit by noon though. Laughing

I miss that place. Unfortunately the last guy what manage that place he did not know what he was doing and did a number on the track. I remember there was a section in the back with nice jump and I really like that part of the track. I was looking forward to next weekend go there again and ride the track. But when I show up next weekend the section was gone and there was a s turn instead . When I asked him he give me some bull that the jump was too fast and unsafe. I said, really I am 55 and I am cool with it and everyone likes that too. Basically he made the track in to C class beginner track. I did not return to the track after that and the track close 6 months later.

Max Track. Spent many many days there after school while my dad put in the watering system and got the track going with Marc. I’ve never seen that track with as good a layout as Max Track. It’s a shame too. Once the permit expires, it will never ever be a track again. The permit was grandfathered in for a track as long as it got renewed before expiring, and once it expires, it will never be given for a track again.

I worked for Marc helping him maintain the track. Great times, miss those days, met so many great people. I was hoping the track would open up again.

My dad was the one that went to Ventura county and got the permits approved, Craig Lynch was the original owner and my dad heard he wanted to build a track, so he showed up at his door and it started from there. And yes once the permit expires it will be gone forever.

The last year Piru was open prep was on point! Owner had it dialed, ripped it deep then tilled it, which was key. Loam, ruts, fun track! Now w Zaca closed, a lot lot of riders gotta drive far to moto. As far as Piru's permit, I'm pretty sure there was/is a lot of years left. It was renewed in I think 2015 for 20 years. And I'm pretty sure Ventura isn't going to give out any other track permits. Bet a few riders wish they supported that track when it was open, just may have still been open today!
