Has anyone ever had an MX32 mid soft tyre break the bead as in go all soft in the side wall? I ran the tyre on my 450 over 2 weekends. The first weekend was a 4 lap practice followed by 3x12 minutes motos. The second weekend was a 3 lap practice followed by 6x5 lap motos. While working on my bike I noticed a massive wobble in the rear tyre, thinking I bent the rim I pulled the tyre off and the rim was straight but the side wall was sloppy and easily bent with my hand.
I really like this tyre and I'm hoping it's a freak thing but if not I'll look at another tyre. Anyone else had this experience?

I’ve ran them with no issues.

Had many of them, love them, only had one with issues, but I rode it flat for a moto. 14 psi always

Everyone I have ever ran has cracked the sidewall before the tread was worn enough for me to change it. YMMV!

Never had that happen. I'd call it a freak incident. I run 13.5 and up PSI on mine. But, I do tear the rear side knobs at the base. Haven't torn a knob off yet, but I am on a 350 and not super fast. I sure do love the front MX32. Won't run anything else.

I am on my first pair, but no issues at about 10 hours, mostly loam / sand, though, and I run 14 PSI.

On really hard pack, i had trouble. But alway s use to run 12 or 13 psi . Found i needed 15 or even 16 psi on stoney ground. Seems like all modern tyres need more psi . I ran 12 psi for 20 years .never had a problem on any brand. Lowest i go now is 14psi

Yes, I have had that happen on several rear tires. The mx 32 is one of my favorites but they will blow out on the side and make you think the rim is bent. I was getting them cheap so it was still worth it but I would be pissed if I paid one hundred dollars for a tire that did that.

Cheers guys. I was running 13.5 psi, sounds like I should have gone up. The track on the second day is usually fairly hard pack but the weather report was for rain so I ran the mid soft. It also got a couple square edge holes in the main line and they put some big lips on some of the jumps so there were a few big jumps I sent to flat accidentally. Makes me glad the yz suspension is so good.
I've mounted up a mid hard for the next round there. I'll run some more air and see how it goes. Traction on the rear mid soft was pretty awesome though
