What happened? Where's it say he's quitting? I thought he hung it up a few years ago when he started with the fire department but it's good to see him still around.

Hope he can still do a few bike tests and stuff, lad can ride.

Ping is like Jim Rome or any other semi offensive talking head - Today he's great, tomorrow, he just might offend you. Either way, they give zero fucks about your feelings, and love to give caustic opinions on issues. Don't like it? Don't read it or listen..

I for one love to read or listen, it's great insight, and if you don't take yourself too seriously, then it's pretty funny stuff.

Honestly, I don't find him offensive, I just don't think he's very funny. Reading his column reminds of those people who try really hard to be edgy, but don't pull it off very well.

I vaguely remember Ping taking journalism courses while he was racing pro. Not sure if he earned his degree. I think MXA told him to "keep going to school, because he wasn't cutting it as a pro". (Such a classy community we have!)

DC is a 'trained' journalist.

Eric Johnson is a 'trained' journalist. He can hold his own with any newsroom editor.
