No wonder Pete Fox jumped ship and started this up. Talk about polar opposite ideas. He also mentioned in that interview that he resigned from the board at Fox over a year ago to start up this project.

Whenever there's a gear thread discussion, this always happens where a particular design is posted and everyone shits on it.

Fly, O'Neal, Fox, TLD, Thor....they all make multiple line, price points and design options. Some clean and classic and some wild and over the top (TLD polka dot anyone?) I'd say Fasthouse is the only one that has one particular style that they seem committed to.

There are multiple demographics and style choices out there that they're all aiming to hit.

Likely a 12 month non-compete or non-piracy clause meant that he had to sit on the sidelines for a bit.

Why need to point it out when it’s such an obvious point already? it’s not a new tactic. And it’s a strategy that depending on the product usually only works for a minority of consumers. If you are one of those folks that need to have the latest and greatest or are a FOMO type it’s great. There is a well known winery that “sells out” prematurely every year to create buzz for the new vintage the next season. The reality is they have thousands of cases in the warehouse they hold back and do not release.

I just received my hoody and I can honestly say its worth it. My missus took one look at me in it and immediately turned into Headdie Murphy! I can't wait to wear the gear out this week and run down a few bogans in their 5 year old unit jerseys.
