Anybody here doing it?

I'm making the trek from NY down with a group (two teams of 2) and racing the duo class. Were set with good lighting, bikes are set, but I'm not so sure we know what to expect going into this! Anybody have any pointers for this racing duo?

Really a fun race. If it's dry like it was the years I raced, you need to prepare for that. Get some of those pull off filter covers and set them up right. We tested ours so we could pull them of with the pull of a string at any time. It made a HUGE difference. Oil up your goggle foam. The dirt there is like baby powder when dry. Get some good earplugs so you can sleep because it's loud, even in a motorhome.
Enjoy yourself, that's the most important thing!
