Heard him mention something about it in his podium interview. Who thinks he might be able to pull it off this season ?

If he rides like yesterday even his starts won’t matter but so much has to go right

Somehow Jmart pulls out the title. This track definitely suits DF14 though

It’s way too early to try and call that. It’s possible but there are a couple guys that want to stop that from happening.

That thought crossed my mind when he qualified 3 seconds faster than everyone, but no. I think he will go 4-4 at LL's, but I don't see him winning them all. Fast Shane will show up for at least one, and Jmart is there as well.

I think he's on a completely different level than everyone else, so yes it's possible. Not likely but possible. I really think it's only a mistake of his own that will end his streak.

A couple friends that saw DF at Glen Helen the 2 weeks before Lorettas said he was hands down the fastest and most consistent rider there and GH is the home of the stop watch nationals. He was doing 40 minute motos which points out that he is not chasing settings or trying to get comfortable on the bike. He seems to have the mental game figured out or maybe he ain't even playing. He seems to be head and shoulders above everyone else.
Listen to his podium interview, tough track, trying to save the bike yet gapped everyone. I think he easily wins it all.

I’m a big fan of his, and think unless he gets injured this championship is probably his, but I just don’t see it happening. Even with AC, and Sexton gone the level of competition these days is just so freaking high.

I’d love to be proven wrong though, because that would mean we’d get to watch some really amazing riding.

Hunter? We won't win a moto. If one Lawrence can take one moto, is Jett.

I would mind watching that but I highly doubt it will happen

He will get more than 10 moto wins in his way to the championship though

Man I respect the guy but he rides more dirty than Barcia and he should have moved up to the 450. That guy is sandbagging. Ide rather have a main even win on the 450 than another 250 title. He'll get hurt and old riding around on that 250.

He will win every freaking moto running away in RC and JS fashion. He is way way way better than everyone else in 250s right now.
Now having said that, I just jinxed the shit out of him. I am the COOLER——-luck killer and terrible gambler. I’m betting he wins them all. He is just too good. Love watching him ride.

Neither Lawrence bro is winning a moto this year. Next year I think Jett takes the next step.

No one's beating DF if he can get top 10 starts. But as we all know, this is MX and bad starts and crashes usually do happen.

This is a record for calling an undefeated season right? Typically a rider is at least 4-0 or 6-0 before the undefeated train gets rolling right?

1- How can one sandbag a pro class?

2- Which factory rider moved up to the 450 class without first signing a 450 deal?

The 250 MX national title is worth a lot to a lot of people. I'd gladly take that over a single 450 main event win.

He's a few years from 30 and how many guys have got a 450 main win over the age of 30? That's just my opinion, hell yeah he's fast but he's already made his mark in the 250 class. He's 27 I think. Didn't James win a championship at 17 I can't remember maybe 18. Especially because there was a spot open at factory Yamaha,.move up now when you're in your fastest years.

He turned 26. And everyone knows he moves up next year. Not to mention that 2020 is Dlyans 4th year in the states. So whats your problem? You're just hating for no reason. Did you ever make a negative comment about Osborne, Alex Martin, Christian Craig? No? Why not?. You know, riders are trying to make as much money as possible in their short careers. Obviously you take higher paying contracts if that requires you to stay in the 250 class. I remember people hating on Davolos for years because he didn't move up. Dumb people don't understand that a pro circuit contract makes more sense than moving up to 450 while having to invest in your own privateer program.

No, the big difference is Google says James was 16 when he first was a MX championship. DF is 26, move up already. He may not be dominant if AC was still in the class but he's 22 and he moved up already.

Sorry for the hate, I love the guy, and watching him race, I just think it was a stupid career move for him and that's my opinion when he could be a contender in the 450 class but he'd rather take the easy route and race the 250.

Zach Osbourne anyone?

Ferrandis will be a factor in any class

AC is a couple months from being 24. You're just making up how old they are to try and suit your argument

I understand that about the contract but DF is hot right now and Tickle is a factory 450 rider. I don't think that all 450 factory teams would have passed up a contract with DF for the 2020 450 MX team. He could have been a contender in the 450 class.

Again, u realise he is moving up in 2021 no matter what? So anything u say right now is so irrelevant.

Dont underestimate Jmart.

This was his first outdoor race is forever and he showed both speed and stamina already. He will only get better.

It will be JM6 or DF14 for the title.

But hell no to the DF14 perfect season. This weekend´s starts was an anomaly. His starts is usually garbage so I expect him to come through the pack more often than not and if Jmart or even Hampshire has a start and pulls away I dont see DF14 catching him.

Some of you guys are so premature, first is Osborne gonna win the championship cos he got his first win, now DF is going perfect season Laughing

I see Honda is a big sponsor this season, Honda's only allowed next year?
