This has to be a joke. I’m guessing the pipe is off being repaired after being smashed by the front wheel

Nice looking toolbox in that pic.

Too bad someone doesn't know how to use them properly.

Must be that old school run one grip, no clutch or foot peg deal happening too.

Awesome idea to put the forks in reversed, so you'll have the caliper on the right side. This way you can wear the tire down on both sides without having to actually turn it around on the wheel

But they did get the plastic really shiny haha.

As an 86 CR 500 owner, I can only imagine how exciting that bike would be to ride if the wheelbase was even shorter!!

People are definitely that dumb. Somehow people still amaze me even though I set the bar fairly low for them from the start.

I've seen dudes do that on purpose, like a different offset triple clamp, generally on drum-braked bikes. Still dumb, though.

Other than the forks being backwards that bike is pretty nice!

It would be impossible to mount them backwards but on the right sides, at least if you want the brake mounts to be on the inside of the forks...

I didn't even have to read the thread to know the answer:

Yes. Yes, they are.

First thought: oh, nice bike. Then the feeling that something isn't right sets in. Reminds me of the upside down face illusion.

The guy is obviously restoring the bike and I bet he stuck the forks in the clamps just to roll the bike to another location or move it around the shop, no from brake master cylinder, clutch perch, chain, foot pegs etc etc. Anyone that thinks the guy doesn't know any better is a Vital sized moran. Cool

You can put the forks in backward just like in the photo and you can roll it around just like if they are on the correct way. I bet the pinch bolts are not tight and neither are the axle clamps.Wink
