I would like to know what contract terms Hill had to meet in order to do the nationals. I like Peick and I hope he kills it, but seems like there is more to the story. I wonder if the decision was driven by Suzuki. I also think the Tedesco deal is weird too. Why not Peick and Hill.

According to MXA Hill had a SX only contract.

just from reading what people have to say, pulpmx, etc etc i would have to say theres more to the story.

it'll most likely be kept a secret unless josh wants to spill the beans when his contract is up.

I think peick will do better on a more consistent basis for RCH than Hill. Maybe RCH thinks Peick is a better fit.

They said he didn't meet contract requirements to go outdoors, which I assume means his results in supercross have not been good enough.

Maybe RCH simply wants to change things up going forward...?

Ivan's an excellent test/development rider.

If you look at Weston's performance from a historical standpoint-SX versus MX (results), he always bumps it up a notch out-doors. I suspect we'll see him on the podium. I'm stoked for everyone involved.

Weston will be knocking on the podiums all season long I think.

I have mixed emotions about the whole thing , because Josh grew up racing around here and is one of our locals. But Weston has been riding so damn good these past few years , it would be a shame not to have him on a factory bike.

Josh's name still holds a lot of water in the industry though.....and I have a feeling someone will pick him up. If not for the nationals.....he'll have something lined up for the 2015 SX series me thinks.

Hill has nothing to complain about - RCH had his back since his 2010 accident without much in the way of results. To me, it smells like something went down for sure. RCH must feel like he isn't giving it his all. Maybe he was partying and they found out. Perhaps that was the clause in the contract. Who knows? He certainly can't have any complaints in 2014 after the last 4 years.

And maybe because of Ivan's testing/development ability they will get a head start on 2015 for their unnamed rumor is already signed German rider. Maybe just maybe Ivan did a little testing for the brand he is currently on and the said unnamed rumored German liked what Ivan was doing on getting the current bike set up that they shared....just maybe...

I don't know. I was just reporting what was written on the MXA site. Although, it does beg the question. Why is it that everyone seems to leave RCH under a cloud of secrecy?

I don't know about you guys but I can consistently beat Josh Hill's lap times on Mad Skills 2. In my eyes it seems that he's not ready for outdoors.WoohooWink

All I know is Hill said Josh Hansen was giving him advice and the next day he was fired.

Maybe the performance based things were not met off the track like fitness ect ?

dont see why anyone is surprised or upset hill got clipped..hes barely ridden since 2010 and hes been getting awfully lucky that cary still hooked him up

he also failed to make a main event this year too.

its a bummer but Peick is a better deal

If a guy has skill in SX but isn't good outdoors I believe it is fitness related. Hill is buds with Hanny and JLaw. Neither were know as being fit. Hanny
was always open about not training. A 15 minute SX is a bit different than 2 35 minute motos in the heat. Obviously RC knows Hill better than all of us and knew he wasn't worth keeping for outdoors. I don't see Hill hooking on with anyone for outdoors.

What a crock of shit about hanny being an issue. The hills are a great moto family justin trains his ass off I imagine josh will struggle to be as fit as others due to his bad injury if your seriously comparing him to hanny or j law your an idiot.
