Such a bummer considering the circumstances leading up to it. Thanks for all the great races and memories Weston and best of luck with what comes next!
Such a bummer. It was so cool to see him build up from nothing and get the factory ride. He was just getting comfortable too. Who knows what he could've done with another year on that JGR bike.
I remember in Daytona when he battled right to the flag in the lcq. It was so close he thought hed lost and kicked his bike off the stand. Then a year or two later hes earned a factory deal. Dude was all heart.
He’s got a strong mind and will no doubt succeed in his future business. I’m always impressed on his ability to speak on camera. Straight forward and to the point ! He’s going to be just fine....
So shitty that he was stopped in his prime. I have met him a few times at races, super nice guy always friendly and wiling to chat. I spoke with him at A2 in 2019 when he was still very hopeful of recovery....I remember walking away just hoping so badly things would turn around for him. I wish him all the best for his future.
You can just see from how hard he finds it to actually say he is done how hard it must have been for him. Seems like a great guy and he had some great rides. Thanks Weston
Had the pleasure of watching Weston battle in the Intermediate class at CMC and the in the pro class. My pops got to know him and his dad pretty decent since he worked the start. I don’t know if anyone out there has quite the same dedication and work ethic as Weston. Bummed he won’t be racing anymore, but I know he will be fine in all his future endeavors
Congratulations Weston on a excellent career from privateer to weekly podium contender for years. Wish you every success in your future endeavors and all the best to your entire family as well!
It shows what a decent rider with a great work ethic can do on a 450 out of the back of a van.. His outdoors results got him noticed and his SX results stepped up when he got the chance to devote the time to it.. respect to him and his family, sorry he didnt get to leave on his terms.
