I cant believe Weston Peick beat Chad reed in the heat race, and almost in the main. I wonder if reed is super pissed. or he is just blaming the bike. Wait wasn't Chad Reed saying how he is finally on a bike that he loves? memo: stop listening to Reed

I think Reed was just riding comfortable to make it safely outdoors. Awesome ride by Peick for sure though. Nothing like a linebacker being a good SX rider.

Weston is racing really good...simple as that...give him some credit! It seems strange that you would wonder if Chad is "super pissed" or if he is "just blaming the bike." It also seems strange that you would make a memo to yourself to "stop listening to Reed." How do you do that? Plug your ears every time you're within ear-shot of him.....or every time you see an interview of him. Huh, that wouldn't look childish. Why would you want to stop listening to ANY of the riders? Even if they are talking out of their ass, lying or telling crazy stories....it's just makes it that much more interesting if you are a true motocross fan! Your insinuations about Reed, an icon of our sport, and your decision to stop listening to him tells me you aren't much of a motocross fan!....maybe you should be in a punk rock forum.

I hate fans that think you cant say anything about a rider just because they are faster than us. they are fast riders and that is all. as men they are no different or better than us. when I said stop listening to Reed I meant that he is full of shit when he says stuff about bikes. he says he loves the Honda, well it doesn't look like it. Weston Peick shouldn't be passing Chad Reed I don't care what you say

bullshit..... how do you know about CR's health?? do you know for a fact he is 100% physically?? are you Reed's doctor, or simply former team manager??

and how do you know it wasn't something with the bike??

how do you know he wasn't simply doing the smart thing and keeping healthy for the nats??? if Reed couldn't pull off a win he really had nothing to gain by working his way up to the podium... however, he had a shit-ton to lose if he got hurt while pushing the hell out of it to reel in RV and Davi from behind......

how do you know it wasn't a combination of all three???

Every rider has good nights and not so good nights and nights they just want to get over with. Who knows what Reed is juggling. Bottom line is on that night, Peick was just as fast and maybe even a hair faster for whatever reason who knows. Peick great performance is the water is half full in this thread and talking crap about Reed is the cup is half empty position. I know how I prefer to see it. WP is a beast!

GHR is correct.....Reed was off and Weston was on....I knew when i saw the track that Weston was going to have a good night.The track was fast,long and didnt have any chest deep whoops which favors Westons style. Weston has been improving every week and this is not the first time he's beat Reed in a heat race. Weston is really an outdoor rider and i cant wait to see what he can do in the nationals. Westons "team" consists of a bunch of guys like me who pitch in to get him to the races. I tell everyone hes racing against the best in the world on an 80 novice budget....someone bigger than us needs to give him a ride. He deserves it !!!!

Why ? Peick is an awesome rider, regularly beating the factory guys and Reed just had knee surgery.

As an observation , you sound bitter toward Reed.
