I can’t help but laugh at their marketing. “Peacock Premium” sounds like the top tier, right? Nah, $4.99 Peacock Premium has ads. You don’t want ads? Need the $9.99 Peacock Premium Plus, and even then you get limited ads. lol
I’d rather watch the bulldozers while listening to drunk aunt Carol squawk at her nephew about when Grave Digger is gonna come out.
I received an email about this. What I don't see is, is it live only?....what about replays?
Nevermind...I see on the official site it says this...
NBC Sports and Peacock will offer the off-road motorcycle racing community extensive live and commercial-free Supercross and Pro Motocross coverage on Peacock Premium. Beginning with the start of the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross season on Jan. 16, NBC Sports’ exclusive streaming coverage will move from NBC Sports Gold’s “Supercross and Pro Motocross Pass,” “Supercross Pass” and “Pro Motocross Pass” to Peacock Premium, which is available for $4.99 per month.
The Supercross and Pro Motocross packages included on Peacock Premium will serve as a one-stop shop for all Monster Energy Supercross and Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship fans. Peacock Premium will offer comprehensive live coverage and on-demand replays of their respective 2021 seasons, including Supercross qualifiers and races, and Pro Motocross main practice sessions, qualifiers, Moto 1s, and Moto 2s.
Supercross and Pro Motocross streaming coverage on Peacock will complement robust linear coverage in 2021 of both series as part of NBC Sports’ ‘Home of Motorsports’ programming. The Supercross season kicks off on Saturday, Jan. 16 in Houston while the Pro Motocross season begins later in 2021. NBC Sports’ telecast schedule for the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross season will be announced soon.
Does Peacock have a way to record it to their cloud and watch it later, or can we start from the beginning if we get home late? How is Supercross Live going to be watchable?
at $10 a month x 12 = $120 for SX and MX and all the other stuff on NBC?
Seems a deal, unless there's an extra...

It's confusing but Peacock Premium is $4.99 per month and the SX/MX races will be commercial free on that level...the only reason to pay $9.99 is if you don't want commercials on your Office re-runs...

Press release says they will have on demand replays
I'm so beaten down by this transition from bundled cable to a hundred different streaming platforms. It was fun at first, now it's pretty apparent we'll all be spending more than the ridiculous monthly cable prices.

You are exactly right. Came to that conclusion this weekend. Peacock is coming on for SX, so one of the other 5 streaming services has to go.
$4.99/month is perfect, especially since I'm sure you can turn it off anytime.

With SX, Feld offers their SX pass at $130 USD, so we have that option, but what about international viewers and the MX Series?
Is something in the works with MX Sports or is everyone outside the US, SOL?
Sure hope something is in the works or Peacock is a downgrade.

Can I watch it the next day and fast forward thru the dead bands?
Pit Row
Might not have a choice but to look into that.
With the NBC Sports Gold app you could watch previous racing seasons that you paid for.
With this change, will users be able to watch previous seasons and how far back?
I was able to link my COX account, so the Peacock premium is no charge. I think they offer this deal for COX and Infinity customers.
With Gold, all you got was racing.
With this, you get all the racing and a lot more
Post a reply to: Peacock it is!
