I have a partially torn patellar tendon. No surgery needed so the doc would not prescribe me a brace. It’s been 4 weeks since the injury and the doc said I just need to take it easy for a few more and I should be ok. It doesn’t hurt anymore during exercising or anything.

Anyways, now I’m considering some knee braces that I’ll have to pay out of pocket for. I do t have a shop around me so I can’t go try a bunch on I’ll have to order online. Can anybody reccomed some? And no I can’t affprd to pay 1,000$ for a cti brace

Youre going to pay $500-$600 for good braces. My vote goes to mobius. I spent my budgeted money on eva mid range braces and regret it. Will 100% be buying mobius next time around.

I have the same injury. I currently have the Pod K4's. They are super comfortable and reasonably priced. I would also look at the Mobius braces.
