Anyone have any insight as to where the good parking is at Daytona? Can you park in the infield or do you even want to?

Thanks

follow the signs for infield parking pay your $15 enjoy the show.
build sand castles on the track after the race instead of going to your car. As with any large event there is no one directing traffic on the way out so it turns into a cluster.

Hard to get out of but cool. Lot across the street by mall is other option.

Unless they’ve developed it on out, the lot across from the speedway behind Bass Pro Shop is always my first choice. Depends on where you’re going after the race but I can turn right, head west and jump on I 95 in a reasonable amount of time...usually.

Parking on the infield is a cool experience because you get up close to the race track. And you can drive right next to the track, near pit lane. Parking across the street is ok. Sitting in bleachers is interesting because of how the place is built; looks like a giant erector set!

what others have said. parking in the infield is a super cool experience, driving under the track, and then crossing over the nascar lanes into the infield. also a great first view of the stadium. also easier to get back to your car during the day if you need something. the only negative for us (we've gone annually for many years) is it can easy take 1-1.5s in gridlock to get out after the race. wait and walk around the track (theyll let you walk everywhere but on the big jumps) till they kick everyone out, usually about 20-30mins after the 450 podium

across the street option as well, behind the mall, easier to get out post event. but not the cool experience.

Aside from the Nationals, this is my favorite race of the year. We come down and camp in the infield every year. Its a blast.

Park across the street at target behind the panda express and cross at the light right there. Have done that for the past 5 years.

We always park across the street in the Best Buy parking lot. Multiple exits to get out, very little wait time. Close to the walk-over bridge as well.
