Funny picture from some moto today. Lady parked her Mercedes too close to the track. Notice the yellow tape

Would the rider even be liable for the damage? I don't think she can do anything....

I would think the vehicle insurance would cover it! Why park so close to the track, shit happens!

A 4-stroke would have ended up in the back seat.

If my memory serves me correctly, the owner didn't discover it for a while. Everybody at the track went over to take pics and gawk.

Dan Truman who's now Michael Byrne's mechanic trashed a nice black Chevy Silverado at a track here in Florida. He and the bike both cartwheeled off the track, over a fence and right down the side of the truck and then stop on the side of the van

Remember when Josh Grant's bike t-boned that pickup a couple years ago? I think it was at Mt. Morris. It rolled a little ways to do it, lol.

Great mentality. So if a kid would have been standing there without a car and gotten killed would it have served him right too?

I can't believe the track owner promoter let anyone park that close to the track. He's more likely to get sued by a rider. Thats just stupid right there.

Exactly. Promoter is the one at fault here. It is their responsibility to make sure that the facility is safe for riders, spectators, vehicles, etc. With that said, the people that parked their cars that close to the track are pretty stupid as well. If the bike didn't hit it, there's no doubt a stray rock or roost could have.

While it is obviously clear that the promoter did not provide a safe facility, the Vital faithful will point out that all the riders should have packed up and gone home if they felt they were in danger. Heck, there have been photos posted here of telephone/light poles literally in the middle of the track near the landing of a big jump and people here saw nothing wrong with it. LMAO! Unsafe facility??? Never! lol
